Dr Amin Khan,
Senior General Manager, Network, Revenue Management & Distribution
Malaysia Airlines

Dr Amin Khan is the Senior General Manager of Malaysia Airlines. He is in charge of Network, Revenue Management and Distribution. He has been a key driver in the airline’s domestic rationalization program that facilitated the birth of 2 national champions in Malaysia’s national aviation policy in 2006, and the revival of the rural air services in 2007. Dr Amin is an aircraft engineer by profession. He holds a PhD in Management and a MBA from Cranfield University, England. In addition, he is a GE certified Six Sigma black belt holder. He continues to mentor and sponsor the six sigma programs to improve cost effectiveness and productivity. He has many years of airline experience and has in fact covered the whole spectrum from planning to operations. He has been in engineering, internal audit, network planning, and revenue management.
