 Mr Andreas Eichinger,
Senior Economist ECAD Andreas Eichinger is a Senior economist working in the department of aviation economics at the European Center for Aviation Development – ECAD GmbH. He is currently involved in several projects on air transportation issues and publishes regularly on transportation subjects. Before joining ECAD he worked as a research assistant at the German University of Administrative Sciences in Speyer, Germany and as a research fellow of Prof. Dr. Knorr at the Institute for World Economics and International Management (IWIM) at the University of Bremen in Germany. He attained his degree in economics and business studies in 2003 and currently works on his dissertation on the subject of efficiency in rail freight. His main fields of research are transport policy with focus on air transportation, railways and public transport, competition theory and policy.
