 Mr John Duffy,
Senior Vice President, Industry Head of Global Infrastructure HSH Nordbank AG John Duffy is the Head of Global Infrastructure for HSH Nordbank, which is a dedicated sector team embedded within the Transportation division. He leads a team of twenty professionals based in Singapore, Shanghai, London and New York. John has been working in asset and project finance for over 20 years, of which 15 have been spent in Asia Pacific. As well as assignments in Tokyo, Hong Kong and Singapore, he spent two years in Shanghai (1994-96), where he established the Corporate and Investment Banking operations for the NatWest/RBS Group. He has worked on projects in the aviation, rail, logistics, telecommunications and power sectors, including a unique financing with the ADB to rehabilitate eleven regional airports in China. Across Asia, he has worked on a variety of projects, ranging from light-rail in Jakarta, to the new international airport at Delhi. He is also a member of the Investment Committee for the India Infrastructure Development Fund, which HSH Nordbank has established with UTI and Noor Financial Group.
