Mr Binay Chandgothia,
Chief Investment Officer
Principal Global Investors (Asia) Limited

Binay is a Portfolio Manager for Principal Global Investors and also serves as Chief Investment Officer for Principal Global Investors (Hong Kong) Limited.  He is responsible for overseeing investments of the group in the Hong Kong region. He joined the firm in 2000 and has over 16 years of experience in portfolio management. Binay served as the deputy chief investment officer of Principal's Indian mutual fund operations before moving over to Hong Kong in 2005. Previously, Binay was responsible for portfolios management in the India’s largest banking group, the State Bank of India group. Binay received a bachelor’s degree in commerce from St. Xavier’s College. He holds a financial risk manager certification from the global association of risk professionals.
