 Mr Benjamin Rudd,
Chief Global Strategist Ping An of China Asset Management (Hong Kong) Company Limited Benjamin Rudd is global strategist at Ping An of China Asset Management (Hong Kong) Company Limited and is responsible for providing global asset allocation analysis to the Ping An asset allocation committee. He leads the global strategy team based in HK which produces research and recommendations on global equity, bond and commodity markets.
Before joining Ping An, Mr. Rudd was a portfolio manager at the private wealth company Acacia Asset Management where he ran an absolute return portfolio.
Prior to this Mr. Rudd ran macro research in London at the hedge fund Caxton Asset Management one of the biggest macro funds in the world.
Before moving into asset management Mr. Rudd held a number of senior positions at international brokerage houses including Asia Pacific investment strategist at ABM AMRO Asia and global strategist and head of emerging market strategy at HSBC Investment Bank.
Benjamin did his undergraduate and post-graduate work at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London in the UK. He specialized in Asian Economics and his research was published in several academic publications.
