 Steve Wiltshire,
Partner SW1 Consulting Steve is Managing Director of SW1 Consulting, a specialist consultancy he established in early 2009 to assist investment managers improve investment and business performance. He is also a founding partner of Lexam Partners, a private equity firm focused on the investment industry.
Much of Steve’s investment career to-date has been with Russell Investments, where he was CIO for multi-strategy solutions until early 2009. Previously he was Russell’s CIO in Europe. Steve was one of the architects of Russell’s manager research process, which is generally acknowledged to be one of the most effective in the industry. Steve directed Russell’s research for eight years prior to assuming responsibility for portfolio management.
Steve first entered the financial services industry in 1986, initially with Prudential Bache Securities. This followed a first career in Engineering Hydrology, a subject in which he holds a PhD.
