 Jason Lejonvarn,
Strategist, Commodities Team Hermes Fund Management Jason Lejonvarn joined Hermes in July 2009 as a Strategist in Commodities. He is responsible for the commercialisation of Hermes commodity offerings. Previously Jason launched BGI’s commodity fund and co-authored its commodity risk premium research.
Before moving to Hermes, Jason worked at BGI for 5 years. Initially as a strategist in their solutions team and then as Head of Portfolio Management for BGI’s fund of hedge fund team including BGI’s Multi-Strategy Fund. Prior to BGI, Jason worked for BARRA in both Berkeley, CA and London for 7.5 years. His roles ranged from Product Manager, Equity Models to Director of Global Accounts, supporting BARRA’s largest European clients and Europe’s largest asset managers.
Jason holds a BA in Political Science and International Studies from Macalester College in St Paul, MN and an MA in Economics from Los Andes University in Bogota, Colombia. He is a CFA charterholder.
