Responsibilities included: Chief Operating Officer – Middle East Region - Zain Group - May 2008 – July 2009 Responsibilities are to assist Middle East operations to achieve their short/long term goals and to ensure adherence with the overall company Strategy and Performance. Chief Executive Officer – Zain Jordan - April 2006 - May 2008 Zain Jordan the first company to introduce GSM mobile services in Jordan and has been since its inception a leader in the market. Due to the nature of the market, it is imperative to maintain the momentum and preserve the leadership in this highly competitive volatile, economically challenged atmosphere. Chief Commercial Officer - MTC Touch/Zain Group – Lebanon - April 2004 - April 2006 Zain Group holds the management contract for MTC Touch Lebanon, and as such held the position of CCO to oversee the major rebranding process, to become a principle effective performer in a market which needed innovative means to keep a competitive edge. Operations had to be revamped, to accommodate the needs of the customer base. Major responsibilities also included the direct communication and liaising with the Lebanese government (the owner). Regional Manager/Assistant General Mgr - International Turnkey Systems – KSA - June 1997 - April 2004 A renowned regional company specializing in Information Technologies Solutions. Responsibilities included expanding markets and exploiting opportunities to further increase sales, by implementing innovative sales strategies and marketing plans, especially within the Saudi market. Managed to increase the revenue sales within the Kingdom of Saudi, to represent 45% of the company’s overall annual revenue. Regional Manager - ZED Data Systems - Toronto - Canada - April 1994 - May 1997 The company is a well known for its reselling of data networking products and systems including CISCO, Motorola and other major systems. Responsibilities included direct sales of the products in the Ontario/ Quebec Region to major accounts including Bell Canada. Sr Sales Executive/Major Accounts Mgr International Turnkey Systems – Kuwait - Dec.1983 - July 1991 Joined at the early days of the company, responsibilities included the attraction of major accounts, their management and retention. Worked closely with banks, airlines and other service providers to ensure that their custom needs are met. Worked on developing plans for expansion to ensure proper growth, continued development and sustainable profits. The company successfully grew into a regional company not only serving the Kuwaiti Market but other Gulf States, Saudi Arabia and later other parts of the World. Technical Engineer & Sales Manager - Rakan International Enterprises - Kuwait - Nov 1980- Dec 1983 Joined as a technical support engineer, selling IT solutions and software while providing pre and after sales comprehensive service to the client.
