Mr Mehmet Ali Akarca,
General Manager

He started his career in Koç Holding within Management Trainee program in 1991. Worked in different positions in Setur and left the concern due to obligatory military service in 1994. Between 1995 and 2001 Akarca worked in marketing and management positions in some companies other than Koç Group. He re-joined to Koç Group as General Manager of BookinTurkey in 2001. He was transferred to Koç.net as Assistant General Manager responsible from Marketing and Business Development in 2003, worked as Deputy General Manager from July to December 2004 and has been working as General Manager since January 2005. Mehmet Ali Akarca graduated from University of Nottingham School of Economics in 1990 and got his post graduate degree in Marketing and Tourism with honour degree in 1991. Akarca was born in Istanbul in 1969, is married, has a son and a daughter. He speaks English and French.
