Professor Yossi Sheffi
Professor of Engineering and Director, MIT Center for Transportation and Logistics
Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA

Yossi Sheffi is a professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he serves as Director of MIT's Engineering Systems Division and the MIT Center for Transportation and Logistics.  He is an expert in systems optimisation, risk analysis and supply chain management. Under his leadership, the Center launched many new educational, research, and industry/government outreach programs, leading to substantial growth.  In 2003 he launched the MIT-Zaragoza programme, building a new logistics university in Spain based on a unique international academia, government and industry partnership. Yossi is also the author of dozens of scientific publications and two books, and has consulted numerous government agencies and leading manufacturing, retail and transportation enterprises across the world.

 
Professor Waiman Cheung
Director, Li & Fung Institute of Supply Chain Management and Logistics
Chinese University of Hong Kong

Waiman Cheung is currently the Director of Li & Fung Institute of Supply Chain Management & Logistics, Director of the Center of Cyber Logistics and is the Chairman and Professor of the Department of Decision Sciences and Managerial Economics at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Waiman is an expert in IT applications in logistics and supply chain management and has consulted for a number of global corporations and has written extensively in many leading professional publications.

 

Professor Daniel Corsten
Professor of Operations and Supply Chain Management
IE Business School, Spain

Daniel Corsten is a founding academic of the Efficient Consumer Response Initiative, the biggest collaborative movement in the world. He has researched and consulted Procter & Gamble, Unilever, Wal-Mart, Migros, Sainsbury and many other consumer and retail companies to help them improve customer service, lower cost, reduce out-of-stock level and create sustainable supply chains. Before joining IE Business School, Daniel has taught or researched at St. Gallen (Switzerland), Bocconi (Italy), INSEAD (France and Singapore), London Business School (UK) and Wharton (USA).

 

Steve Banker

Steve Banker is one of the best known industry analysts covering Supply Chain Management and is a frequent speaker at industry events. His focus areas include Warehouse Management, Supply Chain Planning, Operational Excellence in SCM, Supply Chain Visibility, Supply Chain Risk Management, Tax Efficient Supply Chains, and Supply Chain Management for the Food and Beverage and Consumer Goods Industries. Steve has been with ARC since 1996, and was a Professor at Stonehill College and Pennsylvania State University prior to joining ARC.

Jeffrey Russell is the Managing Director of Accenture’s Supply Chain Practice Globally for their Products business and across Asia Pacific for all their business platforms. He has held a number of regional and global leadership roles within Accenture over the past 10+ years. Jeffrey has 20 years consulting and industry experience in North America and in the Asia Pacific region for the past 15+ years working for a range of leading global manufacturing, distribution and retail based organisations. He is a regular speaker and contributing author on a variety of strategic business issues facing organisations across their extended value chain focused on creating a more profitable and sustainable business model.

 

Dr William Grenoble
Executive Director, Center for Supply Chain Research
PennState Smeal College of Business, USA

William Grenoable is Executive Director of the Center for Supply Chain Research (CSCR) at Penn State. CSCR is a pre-eminent research community of scholars and practitioners dedicated to shaping practice in logistics and supply chain management in today's converging economies. He is a member of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals and the Warehousing Education and Research Council. He is a member and advisor to the Semiconductor Logistics Forum and is a member of the Distribution Committee of the National Defense Transportation Association. He has served on the Executive Board of the International Customer Service Association, and on the SCORBoard, the North American Leadership Team, and the Training & Education Committee of the Supply Chain Council.
