Professor Yossi Sheffi

Yossi Sheffi is a professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he serves as Director of MIT's Engineering Systems Division and the MIT Center for Transportation and Logistics. He is an expert in systems optimisation, risk analysis and supply chain management. Under his leadership, the Center launched many new educational, research, and industry/government outreach programs, leading to substantial growth. In 2003 he launched the MIT-Zaragoza programme, building a new logistics university in Spain based on a unique international academia, government and industry partnership. Yossi is also the author of dozens of scientific publications and two books, and has consulted numerous government agencies and leading manufacturing, retail and transportation enterprises across the world.

Waiman is an expert in IT applications in logistics and supply chain management and has consulted for a number of global corporations and has written extensively in many leading professional publications.

Daniel Corsten is a founding academic of the Efficient Consumer Response Initiative, the biggest collaborative movement in the world. He has researched and consulted Procter & Gamble, Unilever, Wal-Mart, Migros, Sainsbury and many other consumer and retail companies to help them improve customer service, lower cost, reduce out-of-stock level and create sustainable supply chains.
