Hasan was a key founder of “Al-Rai TV,” the first private television station in Kuwait (2003) where he was responsible for building state-of-the-art production and broadcasting facilities. Hasan was also Chief Technical Officer of CNBC Arabiya in Dubai where he was responsible for regional network operations. During the same period, Hasan was responsible for setting up CNBC Africa broadcasting from Johannesburg with production centers across Africa, and other regional TV channels and media projects. In 2007, Hasan received the “Broadcast Engineer of the Year” Digital Studio Leadership Award for his efforts and contribution to the growth of broadcast and production in the region.
