Chris began his career as a cadet with Prospect Electricity. When Integral Energy was formed, Chris moved in to protection design, carrying out design work and asset management. Chris also had a short stint in the billing and call centre areas of Integral. Chris moved to EnergyAustralia in 2000, where he has been recently working on regulatory modelling, tariff reform and interval metering. His has in depth experience in customer response to tariffs, as well as grappling with how a network business passes price signals to end users via retail businesses. Chris holds a Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of NSW, and a Master of Engineering Science in Electricity Supply from Queensland University of Technology.

David Casey graduated with Honours in Geology from the University of Sydney in 1991 and in the same year joined specialist coal seam gas company In Situ (Australia) Pty Ltd. In 1996, he formed his own coal seam gas consultancy business, and subsequently was a founder of Multiphase Technologies Pty Ltd, a provider of coal seam testing services. David has over 15 years experience in the management and evaluation of all aspects of coal seam gas exploration and appraisal, from initial reservoir characterisation and fairway identification through to drilling, testing and production operations. Between April 2001 and October 2005 he was a director of Molopo Australia Limited. He was previously Executive Director - Operations and is presently the Managing Director of Eastern Star Gas Limited.

Mark Collette is Executive General Manager, Corporate Strategy and Development for TRUenergy. In this role, Mark focuses on preparing TRUenergy for a low carbon future through organic growth initiatives and M&A. Mark has been with TRUenergy for six years, and has held a number of strategic and commercial roles across the wholesale and retail gas and electricity markets. Prior to joining TRUenergy, Mark worked as a management consultant in Australia, Thailand and the United Kingdom.

Mike has worked the electricity industry in Victoria (SECV, ESV and Powercor) and Queensland (Ergon) since 1974 (35 years). He has had many roles from starting as an apprentice electrician in the SECV Latrobe Valley operations through various roles as an engineer in distribution and sub transmission system design, system planning and major project management. In 1990 Mike moved into District then Regional Management, then in to Network Pricing and major customer connections at Powercor then Ergon Energy. Mike spent two years operating his own consultancy business between working at Powercor and moving to Queensland in 2001 to work for Ergon Energy. He consulted to the electricity industry, customers and local government in economic regulatory, major customer connections and business process frameworks. Mike’s role since Feb 2007 has been General Manager Metering at Ergon Energy. Mike is based in Townsville, Queensland.

Mr Col Duck is the Operations Manager at Liddell Power Station. He has over twenty two years experience in the power industry. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering Degree (Honours) and a Master of Business and Administration (Technology Management). In his current role Col is responsible for the control systems and performance monitoring at Liddell Power Station. This includes managing projects associated with use of alternative energy sources to supplement coal firing. One such project is the recently completed high temperature solar thermal plant. Col has also overseen projects such as the upgrading of turbines and control systems at Liddell Power Station resulting in significant savings in greenhouse gas emissions.
Mr Greg Everett,

Delta Electricity
Greg Everett is General Manager Strategy with Delta Electricity. He has held this position since November 1996, except for a period when he was General Manager of Delta’s Vales Point and Munmorah power stations on the Central Coast. As General Manager Strategy he is responsible for: • strategic planning; • fuel purchasing; • corporate environmental compliance and regulation; • long term electricity pricing and modelling; and • private sector partnering. He was also Chairman of Sunshine Electricity, Delta’s joint venture with the NSW Sugar Milling Co-operative, which has recently commissioned 60MW of renewable biomass capacity in northern NSW, and was a Director of the Co-operative Research Centre for Coal in Sustainable Development. Greg holds Bachelor of Commerce and MBA degrees, and has had a long history in the NSW generation industry.

Miles joined the Infrastructure Group of Babcock & Brown in 1997 and over the past 11 years has concentrated on principal investments in the infrastructure and energy sectors, and in particular renewable energy investments. Since 2000 Miles has been involved in the development and financing of wind energy projects in Australia and overseas, including a key role in the development of the Lake Bonney Stage 1 and Stage 2 projects in South Australia. In 2005, Miles jointly led the Babcock & Brown advisory team which structured and implemented the Initial Public Offer and listing of Babcock & Brown Wind Partners on ASX (ASX: BBW), and also acted as an adviser to BBW on wind farm acquisitions in Australia and overseas. He has been Acting Chief Executive Officer of BBW since January 2007 and in April 2007 was appointed permanent CEO. Prior to joining Babcock & Brown, Miles was a Director of the Project Finance division of AIDC Limited. Miles holds degrees of Bachelor of Engineering and Master of Business Administration (Distinction) from the University of Melbourne.
Mr Sam Haddad,

Sam Haddad has had more than 30 years professional experience, including 15 years at senior executive level. He has worked in the private sector in project management and infrastructure development, and has held several senior positions with the NSW Department of Planning and its predecessors, including Head of Division, Executive Director and Deputy Director General. Sam has extensive experience in administering and leading the State’s planning system, including strategic policy development and regulatory reform, and overseeing the approvals of major development and infrastructure projects. He has led and implemented significant policy, organisational and operational reforms.

Rod Howard has been with Integral Energy since 1974. Rod's responsibilities at Integral Energy have been wide and diverse and have included a number of general management roles throughout the organisation. Rod was appointed to the new role of Group General Manager Network in July 2009 and is responsible for the development, construction, maintenance and operation for Integral Energy’s overall network to ensure its capacity, sustained integrity and long-term value. He is also Director of Energy and Water Ombudsman NSW (EWON).

Steve Lette is Integral Energy's Manager, Metering Information, responsible for provision of metering and meter data services in all states in the National Electricity Market. Steve is an Engineer with around 20 years of experience in the power industry, with postgraduate qualifications in business and regulatory economics. Steve’s career has included Mains Development, Power Quality, Metering, Regulatory Affairs and Demand Management. Steve has managed a range of pioneering demand management projects, including air-conditioning cycling comfort trial in 2005, smart metering trials from 2006 to the present, the Western Sydney dynamic peak pricing trial and also pulling together the Blacktown Solar Cities Consortium and rolling out many of its programmes.

Bill has worked for 10 years as a research scientist at the CSIRO Division of Energy Technology. In his role at CSIRO he is responsible for managing the Intelligent Grid project which is investigating the economic, environmental, social and technical barriers and enablers for wide spread adoption in Australia. Bill received his PhD for the development of a near field chemically reactive dispersion model used to investigate the fate and health effects of motor vehicle emissions

Rob Lukin has been involved with the operation and development of corporate agricultural projects over the past twenty years and has been directly involved with the management and marketing of those projects. He has been associated specifically with the plantation timber industry for ten years in three states, Western Australia, South Australia and Victoria. During this time he has been personally responsible for the establishment and management of vast areas of softwood and hardwood plantations. Rob was most recently Manager of a Japanese hardwood plantation development business in Victoria. He also consults to the plantation timber industry on project development and investment strategies.

Peter McIntyre is the General Manager/Network Development and Regulatory Affairs with NSW transmission network service provider TransGrid. Peter has over 25 years experience in the electricity transmission industry, with particular expertise in policy development and asset management. Peter’s current role is his third Executive position with TransGrid, having previously held the positions of General Manager/System Operations and General Manager/Network Performance and Development. Peter is responsible in TransGrid for the delivery of network planning and the associated National Electricity Market regulatory consultations for new projects, non-network alternatives to augmentation projects, regulatory strategy, transmission pricing, customer access and connections and regulated revenue assurance. He holds a degree in science, an Honours degree in electrical engineering and an MBA. Peter is a Director of the Australian Power Institute.

Glenda McLoughlin is a Director of Metgasco and is also the Chief Financial Officer. She has been a Director of the Company since Metgasco listed in December 2004. Prior to joining the company Glenda was an investment banker with Barclays Capital and Morgan Stanley specializing in energy and utilities. She has worked in Australia and Asia on energy sector restructurings, privatizations, acquisitions, divestments and financings. During her years working as an investment banker she completed over $8 billion in advisory assignments and financings in the energy sector. Qualifications B. Econ, MBA

Andy joined ERM in October 2005 and manages their representative office in NSW, including NSW based power projects such as Uranquinty and Wellington. Andy’s additional role is to arrange for the connection of ERM’s power stations to the power grids. Andy’s background is in transmission and he has more than 30 years’ experience in the Electricity Supply Industry working at executive levels in both the public and private sector. Andy started his career as a JPO with the Electricity Commission of NSW. He has worked for ABB, Hawker Siddley and GEC Alsthom where he was GM of the Transmission and Distribution Projects Group. In 1999 Andy returned to TransGrid as its Executive Manager Business Development.

Paul Simshauser joined AGL in 2008 as Chief Economist & Group Head of Corporate Affairs. He has overall responsibility for regulatory and government affairs, carbon solutions and sustainability. Paul has over 18 years experience in the energy industry having commenced his career with the Queensland Electricity Commission. His prior roles include CEO of ASX-listed generator Babcock & Brown Power, CEO of NewGen Power, and between 1997 and 2005 was General Manager Energy Trading at Stanwell Corporation Limited. An Economist by trade, Paul holds Bachelor Degrees in Economics and in Commerce, a Masters Degree in Accounting and Finance, and a PhD in Economics from the University of Queensland. He is a CPA, an AFMA Accredited Dealer and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He is also Adjunct Professor of Finance at Griffith University’s Business School.

Roland has a background of engineering and business and has had extensive involvement in the Australian energy industry. His experience ranges from management of the gas sales agreements upon which the North West Shelf Project was founded, through to management of gas production and gas transmission pipeline activities, including as General Manager of the Goldfields Gas Transmission Pipeline in WA. Prior to joining Eastern Star Gas he provided consulting services to clients including the ACCC, Alcoa, Gorgon Gas and CS Energy. In 2004 Roland authored two Government and industry sponsored regional minerals programme reports. The first, titled “Facilitating the Development of Natural Gas in Northeastern New South Wales”, looked at requirements for establishing a gas industry in the study region. That report addressed matters of relevance today, including the prospectivity of coal seam gas in NSW and the importance of gas pipeline infrastructure. The second, titled “Energy for Minerals Development in the South West Coast Region of WA” looked at energy related pricing requirements for triggering minerals projects, and predicted the tightening of gas supply that has resulted in the high gas prices now prevailing in WA. Roland joined Eastern Star Gas in 2007 as Chief Commercial Officer and is now, of course, intimately involved in commercialisation of coal seam gas production at Narrabri.

Mr Alistair Webb is Geodynamics’ Commercial Manager, responsible for overseeing the commercial development of all the company’s hot fractured rock geothermal projects. A chartered accountant, Alistair also develops strategies for third-party involvement in the company and provides managerial direction and oversight of all media and investor relations activities. Mr Webb was previously Energy Derivatives Manager at Eraring Energy where he played a key role in developing and implementing a greenhouse gas / emission trading strategy for the company’s renewable portfolio.

Mr John Wood was recruited from San Francisco to become CEO of Ecoult. John has extensive experience in developing companies from the start-up stage through to commercial success. John founded Keycorp in Sydney and took this to a public company valued at over $100m. After Keycorp John spent 8 years in the US on a number of venture capital activities, founding of a start-up company and a trade sale of a further company. John's experience with company development and financing are strong success factors for Ecoult.
