 Mr Vishal Gandhi,
Founder Gandhi & Associates Vishal Gandhi is a U.K. qualified lawyer, a Solicitor (Supreme Court of England & Wales) and an Advocate (Maharashtra & Goa). He is licensed to practice Indian laws. He is also the founder of Gandhi & Associates (“G&A”) an Indian law firm with a focus on corporate, securities and intellectual property/information technology transactions. Vishal was recently recognized as a leading lawyer by Asia Law and by Chambers and Partners. G&A is ranked as one of the top law firms in Mumbai, in practice areas such as venture capital and private equity fund formations and investments, joint-ventures, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, technology media and telecom transactions and intellectual property/information technology transactions. From the beginning of his career, Vishal’s focus has been on cross-border transactions. He has been involved in numerous projects involving international clients seeking advice on peculiar Indian law issues that need consideration with regard to their transactions in India. Vishal recently advised a global private equity fund with its US$ 100M acquisition of an Indian research and development company and is currently engaged in a approximately US$ 200M international acquisition. Vishal has the experience of working on transactions relating to venture capital and private equity fund formations and investments, joint ventures, technical collaborations, strategic alliances and acquisitions. Vishal is currently engaged in one of the largest outsourcing transactions involving a U.S. based Fortune 500 client and an Indian vendor. Vishal’s clients include ABN AMRO Bank, State Bank of India, US Polo Association, University of Rio Grande, Cisco Systems Inc, DDJ Fund, UIB Fund and various global private equity funds as well as investee companies.
