 Mr Tony Jashanmal,
Group Director Jashanmal Group Born on the 26th July 1947, Tony Jashanmal started his career with Jashanmal Group in 1971 when he took on the responsibility of the Department store, Consumer Products Distribution, Newspaper/ Magazines Distribution, Courier Services across the GCC and today he holds the position of Managing Director for Jashanmal – Kuwait, and Board Member of Jashanmal Group. Alongside his direct interest in Jashanmal Group, he has held positions with external organizations including: Board Member of the Vidhyadhan Educational and Cultural Foundation in Kuwait, Board Member of Faips (DPS associate school in Kuwait), President of the Hunting and Equestrian Golf Club in Kuwait.
Tony is a keen traveler and is often invited to speak on retail issues in the Gulf as well as Family businesses and the development and changes within the “merchant” retail families. He is a member of : Oriental Club, London, Royal Overseas League, London, Emirates & Creek Golf Clubs, Dubai, Royal Palms Golf Club , Mumbai. He had his Intermediate Schooling at Campion School, Mumbai, and then went to Aiglon College, Villars, Switzerland for his high school education. He graduated from the University of Hamburg, with a Masters in Economics (Diplom Wolkswirt). Married and with one son and one daughter.
