Mr Rajiv Nakani,
Managing Partner
Global Capital Management Ltd

Mr. Nakani is the Managing Partner at Global Capital Management Ltd., the alternative asset management arm of Global Investment House “Global”. The Alternative Asset Management group manages about $4billion assets under management with about $3bn in the Private Equity space. He has more than sixteen years of experience in investing and investment banking and brings along in-depth sector experience in financial services, telecom, media, retail, logistics, healthcare, education and real estate. Immediately before joining Global, Mr. Nakani was Investment Director at Eastgate Capital Group managing $500MM in private equity funds, investing across Asia and North Africa. Prior to Eastgate Capital Group, Mr. Nakani was the Head of Investment Banking at Global. At Global, Mr. Nakani headed the investment banking efforts with a focus on M&A, strategic advisory mandates, equity products and private placements. In addition, Mr. Nakani has also led several merchant banking transactions and private equity investments on behalf of Global Investment House and its clients. Mr. Nakani has significant investment and investment advisory experience across the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia. Prior to that, Mr. Nakani was Director, Mergers and Acquisitions at The Sultan Center Company for Food Products in Kuwait, where he built the private equity platform for retail and food and beverages sectors, and led the acquisition and integration of Safeway Jordan. Earlier in his career, he held research and credit roles in India and Kuwait. In the past, Mr. Nakani held Board and Executive Committee membership roles at various companies, including Avendus Capital Pvt. Ltd., a leading investment banking company in India, Al Razzi Holding Co., an international healthcare private equity/buyout company, and Africa Business News S.A., an African media company involved in business news services. He received his MBA, Master with specialization in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics, and BSc in Mathematics degrees all from the University of Indore, India. Mr. Nakani is also a CFA charter holder since 2001.
