 Mr Lance Whitehead,
Managing Director Cygnus Capital Limited Lance Whitehead is the founder and Managing Director of Cygnus Capital, an alternative investments fundraiser and corporate finance boutique. Cygnus secured the equity finance to establish CNBC Arabia and also supported Oman Oil’s acquisition of Compania Logistica Hidrocaburos, Spain’s largest oil and gas Logistics Company. Cygnus’ alternatives clients include: Schroder Ventures, Chicago Growth Partners, Energy Investors Fund, HBM Biocapital, SVG Capital, Acon Latin America, Noble Minority Capital Partners and Europa Capital. Prior to establishing Cygnus Capital in 2002, Lance worked with Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, Citibank, Merrill Lynch and Banque Indosuez, Bahrain. Lance has also been responsible Landmark Partners’ European and Gulf private equity secondary business for the past 6 years. Lance has a marketing-oriented MBA from Henley Management College and he speaks reasonable Arabic, German and French.
