 Mr James Winterbotham,
Partner India Advisory Partners James Winterbotham, aged 50, is a founder of the IAP group of companies. From 1982 to 1998 he worked at Lazard Brothers & Co. Limited in London, and was a board director from 1995. Between 1993 and 1995 he worked in New Delhi as president of Lazard's Indian joint venture company, where he undertook a range of capital market and corporate finance assignments for Indian and foreign clients. In 1998 he left to establish India Advisory Partners together with a colleague in Mumbai. Since establishing IAP he has advised companies from Europe, the US and the Far East on M&A, corporate and fund investment in India, as well as managing a UK AIM listed fund the India Capital Growth Fund.
