Mr Iyad  Malas

Mr Iyad Malas,

Iyad Malas is the CEO of Majid Al Futtaim Asset Management Limited. Previously, Mr. Malas was the Regional Director for South Asia for International Finance Corporation, based in New Delhi. He had responsibility for all of IFC’s investments in all sectors in the South Asian markets including India. Mr. Malas worked with IFC since 1987, investing in many regions of the emerging markets and was the Division Manager for Central Asia, Middle East and North Africa before working for four years in Egypt, first as CEO of Fleming CIIC and then as the Chief Operating Officer and Head of Asset Management for the preeminent Egyptian investment bank, EFG-Hermes from 2000 to 2004. Mr. Malas was educated at the American University in Beirut and earned an MBA from George Washington University in Washington DC. Mr. Malas is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.
