Mr Hicham Ayass,

Since starting his career in TV in 2004, he has been responsible for daily live coverage of all major regional and international financial markets. He provides detailed analysis of stock markets, currencies, oil, relevant corporate and earnings news; based on in detailed and probing live interviews from major regional and international financial stock exchanges and centers; with key senior executives and strategists. Hisham also presents two weekly talk shows, one covering economic & financial developments in the region. The second is the first alternative investments programme in the Middle East that focuses mainly on private equity in the MENA region. Before joining TV full-time, he had often appeared on regional news programmes as an analyst and strategist. He previously worked as Head of International Brokerage for Shuaa Capital, Dubai where he set up the infrastructure of the International brokerage division. He also worked as Assistant Director, Barclays Private Banking in Dubai, building a client base for private banking; and as an Investment Relationship Manager Citibank in Dubai. Hisham lived and worked in Canada and the USA. He holds an MBA in banking & finance from University of N. Washinghton; & another graduate degree in International business from McGill University.
