Mr Faisal bin Juma Belhoul ,
Founder & Managing Partner Ithmar Capital A national of the United Arab Emirates and prominent member of the region’s business community, Faisal Belhoul, Founder and Managing Partner of Ithmar Capital, brings valuable insight and knowledge to the market, widespread investment, managerial and operational experience and an extensive network of contacts across the GCC states. Prior to founding Ithmar Capital, Faisal embarked on his senior management career with the Belhoul Group of Companies, a traditionally diversified, family owned conglomerate with a formidable reputation and notable history. It was during this time that he led the transformation of the Group, focusing mainly on redefining its strategy, creating management depth, repositioning individual companies, building growth platforms and ultimately, enhancing portfolio composition to maximize shareholder value within each of the individual companies. By 2001, the Group successfully reinvented itself as a regional asset management company, with investments in private equity, capital markets and real estate. Faisal was also Chairman of the Board for a number of business groups and associations, including the UAE Private Hospitals Council, the UAE Private Schools Councils and the Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Equipment Business Group of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI). He is currently a board member of the DCCI as well as the Young Arab Leaders (YAL). Faisal is also an active participant on boards of various companies across the GCC as well as internationally. Educated in the United States, he studied Manufacturing Engineering at Boston University.
