 Mr Chetan Shah,
Head - Mergers, Acquisitions & Advisory NCB Capital Chetan Shah has over 20 years experience in corporate finance and advisory, with concluded deals of over $12 billion in enterprise value. He has been with NCB Capital since January 2008 as Head of its Mergers & Acquisitions and Advisory practice. Apart from domestic and cross border M&A, NCB Capital focuses on providing financial advice to Saudi family conglomerates on issues such as organic and inorganic growth, entry strategies for new markets, partner search for JVs, funding options - especially based on private equity, restructuring and rationalization of holding structures and institutionalization of businesses. Until 2007, as Director M&A, he led Tata Group’s overseas and domestic acquisitions in hospitality, beverage, real estate and retail businesses and was responsible for financing these acquisitions. During 1995-2005, Chetan worked with Lazard in various roles at its offices in Mumbai, New Delhi and London. His work at Lazard includes domestic and cross border M&A, capital restructuring and privatization. Earlier, he was engaged in financial publishing and equity research. Chetan is a merit listed fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and holds degrees in Management and Commerce from Bombay University.
