Mr Abu Bakar Chowdhury,
Partner
Emerging Markets Partership

Mr. Chowdhury is a Partner at EMP Middle East. Prior to EMP. Mr. Chowdhury worked as a Senior Advisor/Director with Credit Suisse Group, where he was instrumental in re-organizing its Equity Research (LPT) franchise in Australia. Prior to this, he was a Vice President at Deutsche Bank Group, Australia, and was responsible for managing and structuring infrastructure, real estate and asset backed investments across a range of products-listed securities, wholesale and private capital. Preceding that, Mr. Chowdhury was with Westpac Banking Corporation, Australia in Corporate Banking, Structured Finance and Wholesale Investment Management. Mr. Chowdhury is a graduate and associate member of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia and holds post graduate degrees in Economics and Finance. Mr. Chowdhury is on the Boards of various investee companies for the IDB Infrastructure Fund I.
