Dr Hazem Zagzoug,

Dr. Zagzoug is the Deputy Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Andalusia Group for Medical Services, which owns and manages hospitals and specialized clinics chain in Saudi Arabia and Egypt. Dr. Zagzoug holds a bachelor’s degree in Medicine & Surgery from King Abdul Azizi University, Jeddah – KSA. He holds Master's Business Administration from Glasgow Caledonian University, Glasgow, UK. He is a member of the American College of Physician executives-USA as well as Vice President of the Health committee in Jeddah Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Zagzoug has joined the group in 1997 as a general manager of Hai Aljamea Hospital in Jeddah, KSA; and in 2004 he was in charge of executing and starting up the operation in Alsalama New Hospital in Alexandria, Egypt. The group has witnessed great improvements since his contribution. Dr. Zagzoug is the second generation family member to share in running Andalusia Group. The Group was founded in 1984, in Jeddah KSA, by Dr. Darweesh Zagzoug, owner and founder of the group. Over the last 23 years, the group has established number of hospitals and specialized clinics, covering Jeddah-KSA and Alexandria-Egypt. In 2007, IFC “International Finance Corporation” has invested in Andalusia Group and backed its expansion projects both in Saudi Arabia and Egypt. Andalusia is investing 30 Million dollars in the Egyptian healthcare market in the coming 3 years.
