Hassan El Nahas is the head of ABN AMRO Private Banking in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), effective June 2007. Prior to joining the private bank, Mr El Nahas was leading ABN AMRO’s Multinational Clients division, overseeing inbound corporate business into Singapore. ABN AMRO’s international business in the UAE remains a strong engine of growth for Asia. Mr El Nahas’ 11 year global banking experience in the bank, compliments and fast tracks the bank’s strategy of delivering tailored products and services to clients in this important market. His background in growing and developing the bank’s strategies is particularly effective in the building on the strong foundations and exciting opportunities already created by the private bank in the UAE. An Egyptian national born in Bahrain and a permanent resident of Singapore, Mr El Nahas is uniquely positioned to understand and link the needs of our Arabic clients to the ABN AMRO’s Asian and global network. Mr El Nahas received his Masters of Business Administration and Public Policy from, respectively, the Harvard Business School and the Kennedy School of Government (Harvard University).
