The Best Junior Oil Partnership is open to small cap oil and gas companies, with the winner being the company that has demonstrated exceptional collaboration with another oil company, delivering reward for all partners.
Judges will pay particular attention to the following:
- Value creation from the partnership
- Partner alignment and
- Exploitation of partner synergies
Explorer of the Year
The Explorer of the Year award is open to all small and mid-cap oil and gas companies. This award is for the company who has made the most significant contribution to exploration this year.
Judges will pay particular attention to the following:
- Value of recent discoveries
- Quality of exploration portfolio and
- The balance of exploration risk vs reward
Analyst of the Year
The Analyst of the Year winner will be chosen for their market knowledge in the small and mid-cap oil and gas markets, and their reputation both in the industry as a whole and within their peer group.
Best Advisor
The award for Best Advisor is open to law firms, accountants, brokers, NOMADS, advisory groups and research houses.
The judges will pay particular attention to the following:
- Current service offerings within small and mid-cap oil & gas
- The ability to deliver winning partnerships and
- The scale and success of their current client base
Deal of the Year
The Deal of the Year award is open to all small and mid-cap oil and gas companies, for a merger, takeover or transaction that has captured the imagination of the industry.
The judges will pay particular attention to the following:
- Value creation from the deal
- Market communication of the deal and
- The Deal structure and execution
Investor of the Year
The Investor of the Year award is open to all fund managers who invest in small and mid-cap oil & gas.
The judges will pay particular attention to:
- Return on investment;
- Reputation of Manager
- Loyalty of the investor in supporting the sector during what has been of course a very challenging year.
Best Financier
The Best Financier award recognises the leading financier of small and mid-cap oil & gas companies.
The judges will pay particular attention to the following:
- Current offerings to small and mid-cap oil & gas companies
- The ability to deliver winning partnerships
- Scale and success of their current client base and financings
Company of the Year
The Company of the Year Award is open to all small and mid cap oil and gas companies. The award is for a company who has excelled over the course of the year delivering exceptional performance.
The judges will pay particular attention to:
• Market reputation;
• Shareholder value and return;
• Asset Management;
• Investor relations and,
• Corporate Governance.
Lifetime Achievement Award
This award is to recognise an individual who has been an inspiration to the small and mid-cap oil and gas markets; someone who not only is incredibly well respected throughout the industry but also has a proven track record of pioneering the market and delivering continued shareholder value across their career.
