Managing Director Geosphere
Dr Mac Beggs is the Managing Director of GeoSphere Ltd, a Wellington oil and gas exploration consulting firm, and also currently the Deputy Chair of the Petroleum Exploration and Production Association of New Zealand and Convenor of the Resource Frontiers Programme for the Centre for Advanced Engineering (CAENZ). A geologist by profession, prior to founding GeoSphere in 1997 he held scientist and management positions with GNS Science, and worked for several years as an
exploration geologist for a major oil company in the United States of America.
