Eulogio Del Pino is Geophysical Engineer graduated from the Universidad Central de Venezuela in 1979, with a MS degree in Oil Exploration at Stanford University, in 1985. In 1979 he started his career on venezuelan oil industry at INTEVEP, PDVSA´s Technology and Research Center, were held different technical and supervisors positions.
In 1990 he was appointed Latin America Technical Manager for Western Atlas Company. In 1991 he returned to Petróleos de Venezuela, where he held several managerial positions at Corpoven, another of PDVSA’s affiliates in the recent past. In 1997 he was appointed Exploration and Delineation Manager of PDVSA Exploration and Production. He had the responsibility to coordinate the PDVSA’s restart Offshore Exploration Campaign in the Plataforma Deltana in 2001.
Later in 2003 he was appointed General Manager of Strategic Associations from de Corporación Venezolana de Petróleo, PDVSA’s affiliate, in charge of representing at the Strategic Association of the Orinoco Oil Belt and in 2005 he was named Director of PDVSA and President of PDVSA CVP.
Del Pino has been elected for President and Vice President of the Venezuelan Society of Geophysical Engineers (1990-1994), Vicepresident of the US’s Society of Exploration Geophysicists (1996-1997), and Founder and Coordinator of the Latin American Geophysical Union. Del Pino was a professor both pregraduate and post-graduate level in the Universidad Central de Venezuela and the Universidad Simón Bolívar, in Caracas.

He also holds a visiting professorship in the Department of Economics at the University of Oxford and a William Golding Senior Fellowship at Brasenose College, Oxford. Prior to joining Shell, he was Deputy Chief Economist at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. Dr. Fries began his professional career as an economist at the International Monetary Fund. He earned a D.Phil. in economics from the University of Oxford after receiving an undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School. Jean-Luc GUIZIOU, 47, a graduate of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Géologie de Nancy (1985), Stanford University (MSc, 1988) and Paris University (PhD, 1993), serves as Vice-President Middle East for Total Exploration & Production as from March 2009.
He joined TOTAL in 1988 as a Research & Development project manager in geophysics. In 1993 he was transferred to Buenos-Aires as a Senior Geophysicist for Total Austral (Argentina). From 1996 to 1999, Mr Guiziou spent three years at Total’s Corporate Finance in Paris, before taking the position of Vice-President, Americas, as a coordinator for Total’s Exploration & Production activities in the Southern Cone. A native of Mississippi, Mr. Hollingsworth earned a bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering from Louisiana State University in 1979 and joined the company in that year as a drilling engineer in New Orleans, Louisiana.
He held positions of increasing responsibility, working on both inland and offshore production activities. Assignments included Drilling, Planning, Petroleum Engineering and Operations positions in Scotland, Syria, Denmark, Louisiana, and the New Mexico and West Texas Permian Basin.
In 1990, Mr. Hollingsworth was named Operations Superintendent in Lafayette, Louisiana, supervising Gulf of Mexico offshore and onshore oil and gas production, including gas plant processing operations and marine transportation activities.
He was appointed Operations Manager of Chevron Nigeria Ltd., based in Lagos, Nigeria, in 1991. In 1995, he was appointed to the position of General Manager - Operations for Tengizchevroil in Tengiz, Kazakhstan.
In 1997, Mr. Hollingsworth completed the Executive Management Program at Carnegie Mellon University and in 1998, became Vice President and General Manager Marine Transportation for Chevron Shipping Company LLC, Chevron Corporation's worldwide marine transportation subsidiary headquartered in San Francisco. In August 1999, he was appointed Managing Director for Chevron Overseas Petroleum’s San Ramon Strategic Business Unit.
Starting January 1, 2008 Mr. Hollingsworth was appointed President of new operating company Chevron Eurasia, Europe and Middle East Exploration and Production based in London, UK.

Carola Hoyos is the Financial Times chief energy correspondent, joining the team in 2003. Previously, she had been the FT’s United Nations correspondent, based in New York, covering – among other things – the lead up to the Iraq war and the oil-for-food scandal.
Before joining in the FT in 1999 she was a reporter for Bridge News Service in Los Angeles and New York, writing primarily about energy.

David C. Loring, is the co-founder, president and CEO of World GTL. Under Mr. Loring’s leadership, World GTL has built a world-class management team to capture and commercialize undervalued natural gas opportunities.
Currently, Mr. Loring is directing efforts to finance and build a GTL hydrocarbon processing facility in Trinidad and Tobago. World GTL Trinidad, the joint-effort between Petrotrin, the leading petroleum company in Trinidad and Tobago, and World GTL Inc., is on-track to be the first commercial GTL facility in the Americas.
Prior to founding World GTL, Mr. Loring headed Loring Petroleum, where he provided expertise in all aspects of international petroleum exploration and production agreements, including the negotiation and drafting of foreign concession agreements, tax issues, operating agreements, drilling and seismic contracts, production agreements.
Mr. Loring has benefited from nearly 30 years of experience in the petroleum industry, starting with the Atlantic Richfield Company (ARCO). Serving as a Senior International Attorney for ARCO of Los Angeles, he advised on international mergers and acquisitions. In addition, Mr. Loring handled negotiations and drafting of agreements regarding petroleum exploration and production operations. He has also served as a legal advisor to ARCO British Limited, and has extensive experience in the Middle East, Europe and Africa.

From 2002 to 2007, Valerie led energy research at Chatham House. She is an expert on national oil companies and their relationship to the state. Her book, “Oil Titans; National Oil Companies in the Middle East” (The Brookings Institution, Chatham House, 2006), is based on over 120 in-depth interviews with the management of national oil companies and officials at the Ministries of Petroleum. Valerie Marcel also leads a major initiative on “Good Governance of the National Petroleum Sector”, in which 22 producing countries have worked together to define principles of good governance and establish guidelines for best practice. She previously taught international relations at the Institut d’études politiques de Paris and the University of Cairo. Valerie is now based in Dubai, where she is working as a consultant.

Moutaz M. Mashhour is the Director of Career Development Department at Saudi Aramco. He oversees all corporate development programs and services.
Prior to his recent assignment, Moutaz was appointed as the interim Vice President of Human Resources for King Abdullah University of Science and Technolgy (KAUST). During his assignment with KAUST, he guided the critical process of selecting and recruiting qualified and highly specialized faculty, researchers and support staff that will contribute to the optimal learning environment called for in the University's vision and mission statements.
Mr. Mashhour has almost 20 years experience in human resources development with Saudi Aramco.
He has served as administrator of several divisions, including leadership development and Saudi development divisions, competencies development, and worked as a performance improvement consultant for the Vice President of Employee Relations and Training.
Mr. Mashhour has extensive experience in the human resources field and has been responsible for providing performance improvement solutions for both organizational and individual development, and recently served as a key member of the Corporate Strategic Imperatives team where he helped develop the "Preparing the Workforce for the Future" report and recommendations to senior management. He has represented Saudi Aramco in a number of regional and international organizations and forums, including the Asian Region Training & Development Organization (ARTDO), the American Society for Training & Development (ASTD), the International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI), and the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM). He presented Saudi Aramco's documented experience in the implementation of its competencies development, performance management, and succession and career planning programs to the HR Oil & Gas Exchange Forum in Paris.
Mr. Mashhour also has broad based experience as a career counselor and advanced industrial training instructor.
Mr. Mashhour holds a B.S. in Industrial Management and an M.S. in Business Administration from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals.

Fareed Mohamedi is a Partner of PFC Energy. He heads the Markets and Country Strategies department, which houses PFC Energy's expertise in evaluating the investment risk faced by international oil companies and the political-economic drivers shaping oil and gas sector policies in petroleum producing countries. Fareed also manages PFC Energy's oil market analysis team which is renowned for its analysis of OPEC oil market management strategies. He helped develop PFC Energy's expertise on national oil companies.
Fareed has been at PFC Energy since 1990. He has also worked at Moody's Investors Service as the lead country analyst for a number of petroleum and gas producing countries, at the Institute of International Finance in the Middle East and Asia departments, at the World Bank's Africa department, at Wharton Econometrics Forecasting Associates' Middle East service and at the economic research section of the Ministry of Finance and National Economy in Bahrain. In the 1970s, he managed several parts of his family business which had branches in Bahrain, UAE, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
Fareed holds an M.A. in Arab Studies from the Center For Contemporary Arab Studies at the School of Foreign Service, Georgetown University and a B.A. in Economics from Western Michigan University.

Christovam Penteado Sanches graduated in Geological Engineering from Ouro Preto Federal University (UFOP), Minas Gerais, in 1981, where he subsequently graduated in Reservoir Geo-Engineering in 1983. He joined Petrobras in 1983 and initially worked at the Research Center (CENPES) and in sedimentary basins located in the northeastern region of Brazil. In addition, he worked as exploration geologist and has carried out reservoir production activities in the Bahia Business Unit over the last 25 years. In the 1990s he served as Manager of Sedimentology and Stratigraphy. In 2004 he held the position of Reservoir Characterization Manager and then Production Engineering Manager in the Bahia Business Unit, when he was appointed Executive Manager E&P North -Northeast.

Jay Pryor is Chevron Corporation vice president for Corporate Business Development. He is responsible for identifying and developing new, large-scale business opportunities throughout the world.
A native of Mississippi, Pryor earned his bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering from Mississippi State University in 1979. That same year, he joined Chevron U.S.A. Production Co. as a petroleum engineer and held a number of production-related positions. He gained valuable downstream management experience in U.S. natural gas sales during the country's transition toward deregulation.
Pryor held a succession of management positions with increasing responsibilities in Asia, the United States, Europe and the former Soviet Union.
In 1992, Pryor joined Chevron's international subsidiary Chevron Overseas Petroleum Inc. as the first manager of petroleum engineering in the newly established Tengizchevroil joint venture in Kazakhstan. In 1996, he transferred to San Ramon, Calif., as sponsor in charge of career development for operations personnel. He also served as general manager of Human Resources for Chevron's worldwide operations.
In 1999, he became managing director of the Asia South business unit and managing director of Chevron Offshore (Thailand) Ltd. In 2002, Pryor was named managing director of Chevron Nigeria Ltd., one of Nigeria's leading petroleum exploration and production companies. In that position, he was responsible for directing Chevron's oil and gas operations in West Africa, including Nigeria, São Tomé, Chad and in Equatorial Guinea.
Pryor assumed his current position in May 2006.
Pryor also is co-chairman of the Nigerian Business Coalition Against HIV/AIDS, a body inaugurated by Nigeria's President Olusegun Obasanjo to spearhead efforts by the country's private sector to combat the spread of the deadly disease. In addition, he is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and founded the society's first branch in Kazakhstan.

Jeffrey Rinker is responsible for managing the OMV interest in refining joint ventures and special projects including the Bayernoil Refinery in Germany (45% OMV), the Abu Dhabi Petroleum Investments company (25% OMV) and the Ceyhan Refinery project in Turkey. He is also responsible for representing OMV’s majority (51%) shareholder interests toward the Petrom Refining and Petrochemicals Division.
From January 2006 until July 2008 he was a member of the Petrom Executive Board, with responsibility for the Refining and Petrochemicals Division of Petrom, and he continues to participate in the Petrom Executive Board as a non-voting observer.
He graduated Chemical Engineering in 1989 from Carnegie Mellon University and then worked 16 years for BP in various technical and commercial management positions in the US and the UK, including manager of the global acrylonitrile catalyst business of BP Chemicals; first manager of BP’s hydrogen fuels program, during which time he also served as Chairman of the non-profit National Hydrogen Association; executive assistant to the BP Group Vice President for Technology; and Business Manager for the 160,000 bbl/day (8mta) Toledo Ohio Refinery.
Mr. Rinker joined OMV in 2005. He resides in Vienna with his wife Joyce, and his sons Alex and Matthew.

He received a first class honours degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Palermo and completed a Master in Management and Economy of Energy and Environment at the Scuola Superiore Enrico Mattei in Milan.
