Deciding the future of the oil industry
The world is witnessing the emergence of stronger and more powerful National Oil Companies. The ‘resource nationalism’ of NOCs is radically reshaping the terms of business for International Oil Companies and the wider oil and gas world. Clearly, the role of NOC’s in helping to tackle the global challenges facing the industry is growing in importance.
In this new global energy order, the need for effective communication and partnerships between NOCs and their partners has never been more apparent. It is with this in mind that some of the world’s most important and influential oil and gas leaders from NOCs will convene in Abu Dhabi for their 3rd annual World National Oil Companies Congress on 31 May - 4 June 2009.
A world class agenda, featuring the world’s leading NOC executives
The World National Oil Companies Congress is where National Oil Companies discuss future strategy and opportunity with IOCs, service companies, financiers and key stakeholders in the energy industry
Over the course of 5 days, the congress will see over 60 of the highest calibre speakers and ministers and over 400 delegates address the key challenges facing NOCs. This includes keynote speeches and panel discussions on: balancing commercial and national responsibilities; securing investment in production and refining capacity; NOC-IOCs relations; financial challenges in the upstream and downstream; new technology and human resources.
Maximising the value of strategic partnerships
The congress features over 8 hours of discussion and debate dedicated to NOC-IOC-Service company relationships. This is your opportunity to learn from the finest minds in the industry the key strategies to improve relationships and how to grow and nurture your business.
