He joined Albourne in July 2006 and is responsible for quantitative analysis of hedge funds, hedge fund strategies and portfolios of hedge funds. Prior to Albourne, he worked on the fund of hedge fund team at Schroders as Head of Risk and strategy analyst covering systematic hedge fund strategies. Mr Bedi started his career as a trader, trading equities, futures and bonds before moving to equity research and portfolio management. Mr Bedi has two decades of investment banking and asset management experience, specifically within alternative investments, private equity and real estate with institutions such as HSBC, TD Securities and UBS O’Connor. Mr Bedi recently developed an alternative investment firm and a fund of hedge fund out of London, Zurich and New York, with a team of former UBS O’Connor and D. E. Shaw Managing Directors. The fund of hedge fund portfolio managers had a track record of managing over $3 billion dollars of assets under management.
Mr Bedi received his Bachelors with Honors in Finance and Investment Management and a Masters in Economics and Quantitative Finance from Leeds University Business School. Mr. Bedi went on to study for a PhD in Hedge Funds at Tanaka Business School, Imperial College and Judge Business School, Cambridge University. Mr Bedi is a member of the board of the Oxbridge Scholarship Foundation, a charity which provides funding to students studying at Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard and Yale and supports other educational charities.
Mr. Bedi is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment, authorized and regulated by the Financial Services Authority in the UK and authorized and regulated by the Malta Financial Services Authority in Malta.

Previously, Ray lived and worked in Madrid (Spain) where he was head of International Marketing and Business Development for ABN-Amro. Ray is a native Californian, graduate of Pepperdine University and is registered with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in the USA.

Frank Casey (President) has garnered broad capital markets knowledge and alternatives investment experience over his long career. Frank has always enjoyed being on "the leading edge" of alternative investments. Upon leaving the US Army as an Airborne-Ranger Qualified Infantry Captain in 1974, he joined Merrill Lynch to serve corporations as risk-manager specializing in equity, oil and metals derivatives hedging until 1982. He then joined Prudential Securities to advise banks on hedging interest rate exposures, specializing in the nascent mortgage-origination/MBS-pipeline risks arena until 1994. He then formed his own risk and portfolio management firms and later marketed option-based portfolio management strategies for a specialized institutional manager. He has raised assets for alternative investment managers since 1992. Joining the firm as President-USA, he primarily serves in a business development and client service capacity; however, his capital markets experience, honed within 34-years of alternatives investment exposure, also serves the firm when he qualitatively vets hedge fund managers to discern real alpha talent.

Commander Jerry D. Davis is the Employee Representative on the Board of Trustees for the New Orleans Employees’ Retirement System. He was first elected to this five-member board in 1986 as the Employee Representative, and has just been re-elected for his eighth term, beginning July 1, 2008. He was elected Chairman of the Board in 1994, after serving as Chairman of the Investment Committee for seven years, during which time the Fund progressed from a fixed-income-only allocation to a balanced mix of asset classes. During his unprecedented tenure, the Fund has grown from $94 million to $420 million, while providing generous pensions and allowing for the lowest employer cost ratio in the state. In his CEO role, he manages relationships with 47 investment firms, as well as four law firms, the Board’s consultants and actuaries. He subsequently retired from City of New Orleans employment in May of 2006, where his last post was Personnel Administrator, responsible for all training and performance evaluation for the City’s 8000-member workforce. He continues, as an unpaid volunteer, in two roles: in addition to his trustee responsibility, he is serving a six-year term as the Employee Representative on the Civil Service Commission, appointed by the City Council in 2005. His role there is both legislative and judicial, with responsibility for adopting changes to Civil Service Law as well as adjudicating employee appeals of wrongful discipline. A 1970 graduate of Tulane University, Jerry has addressed over 200 audiences in eleven countries, on issues as varied as fund management, securities litigation and military logistics. He is married to Dr. Linda Ledbetter, a retired professor and former trustee; for the past fourteen years they have produced educational conferences for national audiences of fiduciaries through their non-profit association.

At FarmaCity, Dirk was Chairman and served on the Board of Directors. Dirk is a Trustee on the Board of the American Ballet Theatre (ABT) and serves on their Development and Finance Committees. Dirk is also on the Board of the Latin American Advisor of the Inter-American Dialogue and is on the Advisory Board of the Emerging Markets Private Equity Association (EMPEA), as well as the Boards of various portfolio companies.

Fernando X. Donayre CFA, CPA – Mr. Donayre is the Chief Investment Officer and founder of INCA Investments, LLC, a Latin American investment management firm based in Miami. Before founding INCA Investments, Mr. Donayre was employed by Zephyr Management, L.P. from 1996 through 2003. At Zephyr he was the sole portfolio manager for the Zephyr Latin America Fund since its inception in 1997. Mr. Donayre continues to manage the investment strategy of the Zephyr Latin American Fund via INCA Management’s subadvisory role. From 1994 through 1996, Mr. Donayre was the Director of Research at Globalvest Management, which at the time was the largest Latin American specialty investment manager in the world. From 1988 through 1994 he was in charge of international and emerging market equity investments for the Investments Department of FPL Group.
Mr. Donayre is a native of Peru and has lived in South America, Mexico and the Caribbean. Paulo Leme is a Managing Director of Emerging Markets Economic Research for Goldman, Sachs & Co, covering Latin America. He coordinates a team of economists developing macroeconomic and sovereign credit risk analysis for Latin America, including exchange rate and interest rate forecasting.
Before joining the firm in 1993, Paulo worked as a Senior Economist at the International Monetary Fund for nine years, where he gained a broad experience with economic stabilization programs and external debt restructuring issues in Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East.
Mr. Leme has a Masters degree and an A.B.D. in economics from the University of Chicago, where he also taught. He also received a degree in electrical engineering from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro in Brazil.

Joaquim Vieira Ferreira Levy, was appointed Secretary of Finance (Secretario de Fazenda) of the State of Rio de Janeiro by Governor Sergio Cabral on January First, 2007.
Born in 1961 in Rio de Janeiro and a naval architect by training, Levy holds an M.A. in economics from Fundação Getulio Vargas and a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Chicago. Prior to taking his current position, he was Vice President for Finance and Administration at the Inter American Development Bank in Washington D.C.
Previously, he served as Secretary of the National Treasury in Brazil for the first three years of President Lula's government,after serving in a range of posts in the economic area of the Brazilian Federal Government, including Deputy Secretary Economic Policy in the Ministry of Finance in 2000 and Chief Economist in the Ministry of Planning, Budget and Management in 2001-2002.
Joaquim Levy began his career in 1984, working in the Engineering Department and the Operations Directorate of the maritime shipping company Flumar S/A.
He also lectured at the Graduate School of Economics of Fundação Getúlio Vargas. He held several positions in various departments of the International Monetary Fund,including Western Hemisphere (1992), European I (1993-1997), and Research (1997-1998).
In 1999-2000 he served as a Visiting Economist at the European Central Bank, with assignments in the Capital Markets Division and in the Monetary Strategy Division of the Monetary Policy Directorate.

Prior to joining Ferrere International, Martin worked at Ogier, a leading offshore law-firm. During his seven year tenure at Ogier, Martin co-headed their Latin American practice and opened and managed their Montevideo office, after working for more than four years at the BVI office of the firm. Martin has also worked at the Capital Markets Department of the Argentinean law-firm Abeledo Gottheil Abogados, and as Director of Legal Affairs of Salutia.com, a company in the field of healthcare, with headquarters in Buenos Aires and branches in Brazil, Mexico, Spain and the U.S.
Martin authored and co-authored over 25 legal articles on legal published in Latin America, the United Kingdom and the United States and has been a frequent presenter at conferences and seminars held in Argentina, the British Virgin Islands, Dallas, Mexico, Miami, San Salvador and Washington.
Martin obtained his Lawyer’s Degree in the year 1998, with “honors” from the University of Buenos Aires (Argentina), where graduated first in his class and in 2000 was awarded a Master’s degree in Finance & Law from UCEMA, where he was also first in his class. Martin joined the Inter-American Bar Association in 2003 and was appointed Vice-President of the Committee on International Private and Public Law the following year, and President of said committee in 2009. Claudio Macchetto is the Director of Global Platforms for Paulson & Co., a New York based hedge fund management company, managing over $32B in assets across three fund families, the merger funds, the event driven funds and the credit opportunities funds.
Mr. Macchetto was previously the Product Manager for HedgeForum, Citigroup Alternative Investments’ (“CAI”) third party single manager hedge fund platform. Prior to creating HedgeForum, Mr. Macchetto was Chief Financial Officer of CAI’s Funds of Hedge Funds business and had relationship management responsibilities related to several of the group’s institutional investors with managed accounts. Mr. Macchetto moved into the CFO role after working as Head of Business Development for CAI.
Mr. Macchetto joined CAI after working as Vice President in Citigroup’s Corporate Development team, where he worked on furthering Citigroup’s cross-marketing activities, providing competitor analysis for Citigroup’s executive team, and analyzing several potential acquisitions for Citigroup. Income. In addition, Carlos is the founder and manager of the Peru Special
Investment Fund (PSIF), the first Peruvian hedge fund. This hedge fund was
launched in September 2006 and has AUM reaching +US$60MM. The PSIF was
ranked as the second best emerging market hedge fund by Bloomberg in 2007,
when the fund’s net return reached 77%.
With more than 15 years of experience in the field, Mr. Rojas is responsible for
developing investment strategies of liquid assets at Compass Peru. Moreover,
Carlos has been a member of the Investment Committee of Compass Private
Equity Investment Fund I since April 2008.
Prior to joining Compass Group, Carlos worked at Rimac Seguros, managing
Equity Funds of more than US$100MM and Annuity Funds of more than
