Laughter Yoga

The Festival Hall rang with hearty laughter as gleeful, smiling delegates joined in the laughter yoga sessions at the 2008 conference. Cris Popp who has trained with the founder of the world laughter movement, Madan Kataria. will once again lead us in laughing our way to a happier, healthier life.

One minute of hearty laughter is equal to 10 minutes on a rowing machine - and it burns up 35 calories! It’s also good for your heart, your lungs, your immune system and your wallet! True! Come along and find out how – no sense of humor required. The Laughter Yoga sessions will run for about 30 minutes in the lunch break incorporating deep breathing, stretching and playful exercises to support and encourage natural spontaneous laughing.
