Joao Adamo Jr. - Mr. Adamo is a Managing Partner at Vision Brazil Investments. Mr. Adamo has an extensive background in banking sector. He previously worked with UBS group focusing in implementing and developing Wealth Management products platform in Brazil. During his stay he also played an important role in the integration of Banco Pactual into UBS platform a deal of $3 billion. Prior he worked at Deutsche Bank from 1997 to 2003 as Head of Structured Products. During his period at Deutsche Bank he was appointed as the Country Head of Maxblue Investments - a start up initiative of Deutsche in Latin America. In 2001 Mr. Adamo sold 49% of Deutsche Bank’s stake to Banco do Brasil. Prior to that Mr. Adamo spent 5 years at Banco Fenícia, a Brazilian Investment Bank, known as an innovative house in terms of Asset Backed Securitization in Brazil back in 1995. Mr. Adamo holds a MS in Philosophy from PUC-SP. Also he has a BA from Fundação Getúlio Vargas and a JD from University of São Paulo Law School.

Wale F. Adeosun, CFA, is Treasurer and Chief Investment Officer at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) where he has oversight responsibilities for over $\ biUion in endowment and pension assets. Since joining Rensselaer in 2004, Wale has been instrumental in transforming Rensselaer's endowment by instituting a capital preservation philosophy across the portfolio and diversifying the portfolio globally. He led Rensselaer's increased investment in Alternatives by revamping the hedge fund portfolio, initiating a real assets portfolio and leading the Institute's investment effort in Frontier markets. Rensselaer was recently nominated along with two other institutions as one of the most savvy not-for-profit institution in the country in 2007. As Treasurer, Wale is also responsible for Rensselaer's debt issuance and cash management program. Prior to joining Rensselaer in 2004, Wale was a Managing Director in the Investments Group of the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation. At MacArthur, Wale was responsible for $1.5 billion in U.S equities investments and hedge fund investments. In addition to overseeing external managers, Wale also actively managed $300 million of the Foundation's internal portfolios in U.S. equities. Prior to joining the MacArthur Foundation, Wale was a member of the Treasury group at Inland Steel Industries and its surviving entity Ryerson Inc., where he served most recently as Manager, Pensions and Risk Management responsible for $500 million in pension assets. Wale was an active board member of the Cabrini Green Tutoring Program while in Chicago where he started as a Tutor in 1990. José María worked for 14 years with UBS. Originally an investment banker based in London, he was involved in M&A deals; IPO’s; and equity derivatives structures while part of the Corporate Finance division. After seven years he moved to the Wealth Management Division to create a Corporate Finance capacity and later the Key Clients Group for large private clients in Spain. José María began his professional career in 1986 working for the consulting division of Arthur Andersen (now Accenture), gaining experience on information systems and strategic management consulting. Later in 1988 he worked for Advent España SA a venture capital firm part of the Advent International network, where he participate in fund raising, deal flow generation, financial analysis and due diligence. Simon Hopkins Chief Executive Simon Hopkins has over 20 years' experience in the European investment business. José M. Marín is the IMDEA Professor of Finance at IE Business School. Born in Spain, he graduated Valedictorian, Summa Cum Laude (Premio Extraordinario) from the University of Murcia (Spain) with a degree in Economics, and received his PhD in the same subject from the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to joining IE Business School, Dr Marín was a tenured professor (catedrático) at Universitat Pompeu Fabra, and had also held academic positions at the Wharton School (Fulbright Senior Visiting Scholar) and New York University (MEC Visiting Scholar). He has visited and taught courses at several other institutions, including the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Universidad Torcuato Di Tella and Universidad del Pacífico. He has served as President of the Spanish Finance Association (2004 to 2006), Director of the Centre for Research in Financial Economics (2004-2007) and Vice-Dean of the Economics and Business School at Universitat Pompeu Fabra. Dr Marín has participated as a member or leading researcher in nine research grants (sponsored by either private foundations or government agencies) worth over half a million euros. Dr. Marín main areas of research are asset management and asset pricing. In particular, his current research agenda focuses on the study of market crashes, insider trading, the anomalies in the valuation of companies sponsoring defined benefit pension plans, and the development of successful trading strategies that build on several sources of misspricing in financial markets. His research output has had a significant impact on financial regulation and among practitioners. For instance, recent reforms in the regulatory framework (Pension Protection Act 2006) and accounting rules (SFAS 158) related to the U.S. Pension System have been partially motivated by Dr Marín’s findings, and his research on pricing anomalies and market crashes has received ample coverage in the professional media. Dr Marín’s publications include articles in the Journal of Finance , Journal of Portfolio Management , Review of Economic Studies , Journal of Monetary Economics and Economic Theory , among others. He has also contributed chapters in collective books and monographs, and is author of Economía Financiera , a textbook that is widely used as a reference in undergraduate and graduate programs worldwide. Outside the academic world Dr. Marín has worked as senior consultant for Quantitative Financial Strategies, Inc. (QFS) and its affiliate Grossman Asset Management, LP; the European Central Bank (ECB); the European Investment Bank (EIB), and several firms managing mutual and pension funds. He has also served in several legal proceedings as expert witness.

Sergio Miguez, Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst, is currently CIO in charge of Hedge Fund investments at “BanSabadell Inversión SGIIC”. He is also member of the Board of Directors of “Urquijo Gestión SGIIC”. Previously he was Managing Director at Atlántico Fondos, the Mutual Funds Management Company of former Banco Atlántico. Before that, he worked for the Banco Popular Group, where he took the responsibility as CIO for the Equity investments at Sogeval. He started his professional career working for Siemens Finance department both in Germany and Spain. He has a track-record of 8 years in Hedge Fund investing and more than 12 years experience in the Asset Management industry. Mr. Miguez currently coordinates a Post-Graduate Senior Management Program under title “PDD in Hedge Funds and Alternative Investments” running both at “Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles” (IEB) in Madrid, and at “Institut d’Estudis Financers” (IEF) in Barcelona. Regarding his qualifications Sergio Miguez earned the “Financial Risk Manager” (FRM) designation and is member of the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) since 2007. He was also one of the very first in Spain to have earned the “Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst” (CAIA) designation in 2006. Sindo Oliveros is the Director of the Pension Plan and Endowments the World Bank and a member of the World Bank Treasury management team. He manages over 16 billion US dollars invested across asset classes, from fixed income to private equity and real estate. The pension plan has invested in hedge funds since 1980 and has currently a 20% allocation to that space. The World Bank Treasury manages $80 billion for its own account and for external clients, which include central banks, official pension plans and international financial institutions. Mr Oliveros’ team advises central banks, official pension plans, endowments and Funds for the Future on multiasset investments. Prior to this position, Mr. Oliveros was Director of the World Bank’s Capital Markets and Financial Engineering Department, responsible for derivatives operations globally and for the Bank’s borrowing strategy and program. He joined the Bank in 1990 and has served in various capacities, including in the risk management and financial policies department; the derivatives and liability management group; and the European funding team. Before joining the Bank, Mr. Oliveros taught macroeconomics and international trade at the University of Minnesota, and worked for eight years at the International Monetary Fund on macroeconomic adjustment programs in Latin America, Africa and Asia, and on Fund conditionality.

Mr. Pardo is Deputy Head of the Treasury External Asset Management Programme at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. Mr. Pardo joined the EBRD in 1998 after short work assignments at Cazenove & Co in London and LongView International in California. Prior to that, Mr. Pardo lectured in Statistics and Econometrics at the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid and at the Colegio Universitario Francisco de Vitoria.
