 Mrs Robyn Brown,
Director of Alumni Development University of Adelaide, Australia Robyn has been the Director, Development and Alumni at the University of Adelaide since August 2006. Robyn leads a committed team in the development and implementation of the University’s Philanthropic and Alumni Engagement program. Robyn first joined the University of Adelaide in 2005 as Manager, Fundraising and Development and was set the task of establishing the office as the facilitator for all fundraising activities throughout the University and took the responsibility for identifying, developing, managing and maintaining beneficial and strategic relationships with potential and existing donors and corporate networks.
Prior to joining the University of Adelaide Robyn was Special Projects Officer at the University of South Australia from 2002 for a two year contract. She project managed the development of the communication and fundraising strategy of the $100 million Blueprint 2005 capital works redevelopment of UniSA; and developed, built and nurtured corporate relationships for the University.
Robyn’s fundraising, communications and marketing experience was gained from various roles over a 14 year period in both not-for-profit organisations and in the corporate sector. Robyn commenced her career as a child’s dentist in the School Dental Service program and also spent several years as a television news reporter in the South-East of South Australia.
