 Mr Paul Morgan,
Director Paul Morgan Architects, Australia Paul Morgan is director of Paul Morgan Architects, and has worked in private practice since 1997 principally on university and TAFE projects.
In 2007 he was awarded the Robin Boyd Award for Residential Buildings by the RAIA for the Cape Schanck House. The house won a 2009 Green Good Design Award from the European Centre/Chicago Athenaeum and was one only of 20 projects world wide to be nominated for the Zumtobel Award (Berlin) honoring outstanding sustainable contributions to architecture and humanity.
In 2008 Morgan represented Australia in the Venice Biennale.
He has completed a Master of Urban Design at RMIT and coordinated the University’s Master of Architecture Program. He has taught in design extensively: this experience has provided him with insights into the requirements of educational spaces and has resulted in the production of innovative teaching and learning environments that facilitate flexible use.
As well as having strong professional and academic affiliations, Paul Morgan has been extensively published and exhibited locally and globally. Paul was the editor of Transition Magazine, a seminal Melbourne-based architecture publication.
