Chief Executive Officer ACPET, Australia Andrew took up the role of Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Council for Private Education and Training (ACPET) in 2008 and is committed to ensuring that private education and training providers remain a strong and valued part of the Australian education community. ACPET is the national industry association for private providers of post-compulsory education and training and has over 1000 members across Australia, of whom more than half operate in the international market. ACPET operates in all Australian states and territories, with permanent offices in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide, Canberra and Perth.
ACPET manages the Australian Students Tuition Assurance Scheme, the only such scheme approved by the Australian Government for purposes of compliance with the tuition assurance requirements for student loan schemes in higher education and vocational education. The Tuition Assurance Scheme provides consumer protection for fee-paying students studying with private providers.
Formerly Deputy Chief Executive at the Association of Independent Schools of Victoria (AISV), Andrew has a strong track record of providing strategic leadership and expertise in operational management.
