Maurice Brand was the foundation shareholder and Managing Director of Energy World Corporation Ltd from March 1985 to September 2000. In 2002, Maurice formed LNG International Pty Ltd, with the business model now adopted by LNG Ltd.
In 1987, Maurice secured a LNG Sales Agreement to develop Australia's first domestic LNG Plant in Alice Springs. In 1991, he initiated the first Independent Power Project (IPP) project in Australia, selling the plant's full generating capacity into the Queensland Electricity grid.
Maurice has extensive experience in the global energy industry having been responsible for equity capital raisings of over $200 million, project financing of $800 million and closure of six Independent Power Projects (IPPs) with a total generation capacity of 545 MW, in Australia, Indonesia and India.

David Casey graduated with Honours in Geology from the University of Sydney in 1991 and in the same year joined specialist coal seam gas company In Situ (Australia) Pty Ltd.
In 1996, he formed his own coal seam gas consultancy business, and subsequently was a founder of Multiphase Technologies Pty Ltd, a provider of coal seam testing services.
David has over 15 years experience in the management and evaluation of all aspects of coal seam gas exploration and appraisal, from initial reservoir characterisation and fairway identification through to drilling, testing and production operations.
Between April 2001 and October 2005 he was a director of Molopo Australia Limited. He was previously Executive Director - Operations and is presently the Managing Director of Eastern Star Gas Limited.

John is a Principal at the Peron Group (a leading infrastructure advisory consultancy).
Prior to joining Peron at the beginning of 2009, John was National Manager, Project & Structured Finance at Suncorp for 5 years. In this role, John led the establishment of Suncorp’s Project and Structured Finance business with key responsibility for the development and execution of strategy and market positioning as well as the origination, structuring and execution of infrastructure finance transactions. Over this time, the Suncorp Project Finance team collected 3 Project Finance Deal of the Year awards for transactions across the power, renewable energy and port sectors.
John has 22 years experience in corporate and institutional banking and project financing and has held a variety of senior roles over the past decade. Prior to joining Suncorp, John spent 18 years with ANZ Banking Group and occupied senior corporate banking and institutional banking roles in Sydney and Brisbane.
Over the past ten years, John has arranged the financing for a variety of major infrastructure and development projects across the mining, transport, agriculture, health, energy and education sectors.

Mal Hellmuth is the Executive Director of the Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Industry Unit in the Department of Infrastructure and Planning. He is responsible for the facilitation of LNG projects throughout Queensland and for leading the development of a Queensland Government position in relation to the emerging CSG and LNG industries. Mal has worked for the private sector on a range of significant infrastructure and planning projects including the Gold Coast Rapid Transit, Traveston Dam, and the proposed Kenmore Bypass.
He has also held the positions of General Manager, Program Development and Delivery, and Executive Director, Central Queensland, in the Department of Main Roads. He is a Registered Professional Engineer Queensland and has extensive experience in program delivery, strategic planning, policy development and stakeholder consultation.

He is the Managing Director of Icon Energy Limited and its subsidiaries since 1993. He is the President of Icon Oil US LLC since 1999.

Mr. Lukas was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Sydney Gas Ltd on 19 March 2008 following significant successes achieved in the coal bed methane businesses of AJ Lucas Group Limited. He is also a Non-Executive Director of A J Lucas Group Limited which is the largest shareholder of Sydney Gas.
He has over thirty years experience in the pipeline and drilling industry across the USA and South East Asia. In joining the Lukas family business in 1975 as a Project Manager, he then became General Manager in 1977 and Managing Director in 1988.
He pioneered the development of Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) in 1990, commencing operation of Australia's first rigs. He has developed A.J. Lucas to its present position as a world market leader in this specialised field, he is recognised as Australia's leading authority on this technology. He has also contributed to A.J. Lucas becoming an industry leader in long distance gas and water pipeline construction, Horizontal Directional Drilling, Coal Seam Gas, Civil Construction and Facilities Management.

Glenda McLoughlin is a Director of Metgasco and is also the Chief Financial Officer. She has been a Director of the Company since Metgasco listed in December 2004.
Prior to joining the company Glenda was an investment banker with Barclays Capital and Morgan Stanley specializing in energy and utilities. She has worked in Australia and Asia on energy sector restructurings, privatizations, acquisitions, divestments and financings. During her years working as an investment banker she completed over $8 billion in advisory assignments and financings in the energy sector.

Stephen Mitchell is Molopo’s Managing Director.
Stephen has a Masters Degree in International Economics and US Foreign policy from Johns Hopkins University in Washington D.C.
After completing his studies he spent much of the next 10 years as a Natural Resources Specialist at Investment Banks in New York, London, Hamburg, Sydney and Melbourne.
Since joining Molopo over 8 years ago, he and his colleagues have transformed Molopo into an Australian gas producer with significant gas reserves. Molopo now has a diversified portfolio of CBM projects in QLD, NSW, the US, China and South Africa and Canada.

Immediate past Chairman of the “Queensland Major Gas Users Group” prior to recent merger with the EUAA. This Group represents the interests of large gas users in Qld with the Objective “To Stimulate and Maintain Competitive Delivered Gas in Queensland”.
Also director of the EUAA, an organisation which represents major energy users nationally covering both gas and electricity.
Commenced with BHP Billiton as a University Engineering trainee and has subsequently worked for most BHP Billiton divisions including Steel, Engineering, Minerals & Petroleum. During the period with Engineering (John) worked extensively with external clients as a consultant.
Became involved in gas industry in the early nineties and been involved with gas and power, both part and fulltime, ever since. This work has covered areas including project development, marketing, Gov'nt liaison, tenure, pipelines, R&D, engineering, operations, contract negotiations, contract administration, project management, and strategic planning.
Currently Manager Energy Projects, BHPB and BHPB Mitsubishi Alliance (BMA) and these roles cover work for the BHPB product groups of Silver, Nickel, Coking Coal, Thermal Coal, & Gas -- the common thread being cost and supply of energy.

Michael Roche is the Chief Executive of the Queensland Resources Council (QRC), the
peak industry body for the minerals and energy sector in Queensland, representing the
interests of around 150 companies.
Before joining the QRC in 2005, Michael spent nearly nine years with the Australian
Stock Exchange in Sydney, including six years on ASX’s Executive Committee.
Michael’s ASX roles included Executive General Manager of its markets and market data
businesses and responsibility for strategy, marketing, corporate relations and
international affairs.
Michael also has extensive experience in the government sector, including nine years in
Canberra with most of that time as a senior executive in the Department of Prime Minister
and Cabinet.
In 1990, Michael served for five years as Chief of Staff to the Queensland Treasurer and
nearly two years as Deputy Director-General in the Queensland Cabinet Office, part of
the Premier’s portfolio.

Shaun Scott is CEO (Australia) of Arrow Energy, a leading Australian integrated energy company focused on the development of coal seam gas throughout eastern Australia and Asia. Shaun is a chartered accountant with over 20 years of upstream and downstream experience in the oil and gas and energy sector in Australia, Asia and the United States. He brings to bear his outstanding commercial and financial expertise in his role as CEO of Arrow’s Australian operations, having previously held the roles of Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Financial Officer with the company. Prior to joining Arrow in 2004, Shaun’s career spanned appointments as Group Finance Manager at Energy Developments Limited, Project Finance Director at NRG, and Manager of ARCO’s international oil and gas M&A team.
