John-Mark Sithebe is the General Manager Manufacturing and has overall responsibility for managing the production of sugar - both VHP and refined - in the Group’s two factories (Mhlume and Simunye), as well as the production of ethanol at the Simunye Distillery. Sithebe holds three degrees, as follows:
BSc (Hons) Mechanical Engineering from the University of Lancaster (UK)
MBA from University of Michigan
MSc (Fin Econ) from University of London (UK).
Renewable Energy and Cogeneration are subjects of close interest to Sithebe, and he has presented papers on this at Seminars in Botswana (2002), Tanzania (2003) London (2003) and in Nairobi in 2006.
