The Green Trust Awards, South Africa’s premier environmental awards, recognises and rewards people, organisations and projects that are making a significant contribution to the environment.
The term ‘bit by bit saves more’ has become a philosophy for the team at Sandton Convention Centre. Their initiatives are only a small contribution in the creation of social awareness for responsible tourism in South Africa, but Sandton Convention Centre continues to search for new avenues for environmental improvements. Being an active participant in environmental compliance, Sandton Convention Centre has also received other accolades for its successful Environment Management System, which ensures the Centre operates in an environmentally responsible way by making efficient use of natural resources.
