His clients include companies which span the industry spectrum. Bill coordinates the Deloitte Upstream Guide, a biennial publication now in its 4th edition. Gianna is a consultant and energy analyst with 20 years of experience in the energy sector, corporate finance, credit portfolio management, and corporate banking. Gianna is frequently quoted on energy markets in Bloomberg News, Dow Jones Newswires, Reuters, and Business News Americas. Gianna also is a faculty member of The Oxford Princeton Programme, the leading provider of education to the energy and commodity markets. Prior to Brookshire, Gianna was a senior director in Fitch Ratings’ Latin America Corporate Finance group and was responsible for rating Latin American corporate issuers in the energy sector including oil, gas, and regulated utilities. Before joining Fitch, Gianna was the credit portfolio manager of a leading commercial lease finance company where she managed a $2.5 billion commercial finance lease portfolio and led a team of credit analysts. Previously, Gianna was a manager of risk management trading at BP Amoco Plc. Before the merger of Amoco Corporation and BP Plc, Gianna was a senior energy analyst at Amoco Oil where she focused on global oil industry macroeconomics. Earlier in her career, Gianna was a senior credit officer at Continental Bank. Gianna has a BBA in accounting from Illinois Institute of Technology and an MBA with specializations in finance and international business from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Max Brouwers graduated with a Geology degree from the University of Utrecht. He also holds an MBA from the Erasmus University of Rotterdam. He worked for Shell in London, Aberdeen, The Hague and is now based in Houston. He held positions as global commercial advisor and headed Shell's global exploration strategy and planning team. He is currently Shell's exploration manager for Brazil, based in Houston.

Caio Macedo Carvalhal is graduated in Business at Fundacao Getulio Vargas, and has an Executive post-degree in oil, natural gas and renewable energy matters (lato sensu - 360 hours) at the federal university of Rio de Janeiro (Coppe-UFRJ). With ten years of management consultancy experience, most of them in the oil industry, he has worked closely in the Petrobras reestructuring process, right after the sector open in 1999. Prior to joining Norse Energy do Brasil, he was the Southern Cone liquid fuels expert at CERA, covering the oil, refined products and ethanol markets in Brazil and Argentina. Since the beginning of 2008 he have been the investor relations and planning manager at Norse, where he is in charge of the duties related to the public company status, and supports the company in the daily financial planning activities.

Prior to joining Darby, Eduardo was a managing director at AG Angra, a private equity fund also focused in infrastructure investments for Brazil. Before that, Eduardo was Managing Director at KPMG, responsible for its restructuring services in Brazil. Eduardo was also a Director at Southern Cross, a private equity fund focused in Latin America. Eduardo started his career at McKinsey, where he worked in several countries, mostly Brazil, Sweden, Spain and Portugal. A Brazilian national, Eduardo attended the Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica where he earned an Undergraduate Degree in Mechanics Aeronautics Engineering. He also holds an MBA from INSEAD, in Fointanebleau, France. Eduardo is fluent in Portuguese, English, French and Spanish and understands Swedish.

Oscar Felizzola Souza is a Senior Consultant from PETROBRAS. He works at PETROBRAS since 1975. At the present time he works in the Technical Standardization Sector inside PETROBRAS Engineering as the International Technical Standardization Coordinator. He is M. Sc. in Management System by Federal Fluminense University - UFF and also has an MBA in Project Management by Administration Institution Foundation - FIA, Sao Paulo University - USP. He is a bachelor in Electrical Engineering by Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul State - UFRGS, 1974. He is a Brazilian delegate, representative of Brazilian Association of Technical Standards - ABNT and PETROBRAS, in WG2 (Conformity Assessment) of TC 67 ( Materials, Equipments and Offshore Structures for Petroleum, Petrochemical and Natural Gas) of ISO (International Organization for Standardization ). He is the representative of Brazilian Association of Technical Standards - ABNT in TC 18 (Electrical Installations of Ships and of Mobile and Fixed Offshore Units) of IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission). He is also the PETROBRAS´s representative in SC 18 (Subcommittee on Quality) of API (American Petroleum Institute). He is a Quality Management System Leader Auditor certified by the Brazilian Certification Body of Management System Auditors since 1999. He is a professor of the following Pos-grade Courses for engineers relate to Oil and Gas field: Specialization Course in Project Planning Engineering; Specialization Course in Construction and Assembly; Specialization Course in Industrial Automation for Petroleum Production, Refining and Transportation System.

Bob Fryklund brings 28 years of industry experience to his role as Vice President of Global E & P Analysis. Based in the company’s Houston office, Bob’s focus is on global upstream strategic leadership and opportunity access and assessment. Prior to joining IHS, Bob served as Libya President and Brazil Country Manager for ConocoPhillips. He also has held various leadership positions with British Borneo, Union Texas and Amerada Hess. Bob is a member of the Houston Geological Society and the American Association of Petroleum Geologists, and has published numerous articles in three languages. He is a recognized expert on Upstream Oil and Gas and frequent speaks at key industry meetings, such as CERA WEEK, Pacesetters, OTC, AAPG and quoted in print and television. He serves on or has served on several boards and executive committees, including the IBP (a Brazilian oil and gas association), IEA ( International Energy Agency), the Libyan-U.S. Council (a bilateral trade association), and American School of Tripoli. He earned an AB from Hamilton College in Clinton, NY, in 1980, and has completed advanced studies in business and geology from the University of Houston and the University of Tulsa respectively. He also holds an advanced certificate in management.

He has been the diretor of the Industry and Trade Department of Ministry of Economy (1990-1992). He has also been Secretary of Economic Attendance of Ministry of Finance, being responsible for prices’ policy in the first anniversary of the Plano Real (1995-1996). At the Government of the State of Espírito Santo, he has occupied the posts of Secretary of Strategic Actions and Planning and then Secretary of Agriculture (1992-1994). He has joined the Victória’s government as Secretary of Planning, being responsible for the strategic development plan and the Local Agenda 21. For two consecutive mandates, he has been Mayor of Vitória (1996-2000; 2000-2004) and meanwhile the city’s administration has won several prizes, such as the Best Practices in social projects by UN-Habitat. He is the author of the book “Qualicidades – Poder Local e Qualidade na Administração Pública” , about sustainable development and State reform within the view of the cities’ role, issued in 2006. He was born in Vitória, Espírito Santo, he is 52 years old, father of two sons and one daughter.
