The Bioindustry Association of Korea (BAK) was founded in 1991 with an expectation to be a key institution by developing the various programs aiming at the strong competitive country in the biotechnology industry.

 The Hungarian Biotechnology Association (HBA) was established by Hungary’s leading life science companies in 2003. The main objective of the organization is to create an alliance that unites the voice and interests of companies, researchers, academic institutions and related organizations to provide them with shared services, advocacy, and to help them find success and opportunities in the field of life sciences. Through its various national and international projects, the organization also intends to improve and shape the public understanding, and promote the safe and ethical use of biotechnological innovations as well as educate the future generation of biotechnology managers.
Furthermore, the Association’s goals include winning governmental support for the biotechnology sector – in order to reach this, the organization prepares documents and carries out harmonized lobbying activities. The Association also represents its members at major international conferences and exhibitions where it displays company posters, brochures and flyers. HBA membership is open to national and international companies, research institutions, universities and related organizations. Our members include various life science companies, law and consultant firms, and non-profit organizations.

CALAsia is the only international forum to connect key life science decision-makers from California and Asia Pacific together to identify, explore, and further trans-Pacific business endeavors.
Representatives of the international life science community, including established and emerging companies, pharmaceutical companies, investors, academic and research institutions and delegations representing several Asia Pacific countries will meet face-to-face in February of 2009, when BIOCOM hosts this global conference.
The CALAsia conference will bring together the leading life science regions spanning Asia Pacific with the primary focus centered on partnering ~ bringing together the Asia Pacific and California regions by providing a forum for unprecedented partnering and one-on-one meetings to link east and west.
CALAsia will educate participants from both sides of the pacific about the opportunities and challenges facing the life science industry in each region in order to better take advantage of the strengths of each.

The Healthcare Industry Forum (HIF), started from 1997, has been held for 11 years. The HIF, having been striving to reflect the international hotspots and needs in a unique angle of view, to lead the development of Chinese biopharmaceutical industry, has become the vane for the industry development and been made reference to the strategy for future development of Chinese pharmaceutical enterprises. By far, the HIF has invited about 510 indutrial and academic authorities from home and abroad to present keynote speeches and held 114 communicative professional roundtables and workshops. Over the 12 years, HIF was set as the platform for communication and collaborations between entrepreneurs, scientist, investors and official home and abroad. The thoughts and opinions emerged on the HIFs witnessed the development of the Chinese biopharmaceutical industry, which makes HIF become an important windows for Chinese biopharmaceutical industry to look into the global market.
