BioMedical Asia 2008 and its success

If you had attended the 5th annual BioMedical Asia 2008 from the 14th - 17th April 2008 in Singapore, you would have experienced first hand the roaring success of the event.
Held over 4 exciting days, BioMedical Asia 2008 saw a record breaking number of over 832 attendees, a 20.5% increase from previous years, out of which 63% were overseas visitors hailing from over 30 countries across the Asia-Pacific region, including Europe, North America, and the Middle-East.
40% of participants were institutional investors and asset allocators. There were also a total of 389 companies that were represented, more than 40 sponsors and exhibitors + 44 members of the press covering the event

The event concluded with a big bang and with attendees’ promises of attending again next year.
There was spirited, and at times, intense networking among speakers and delegates during all networking sessions and refreshment breaks.
Attendees got to hear first hand expert advice, discussions, presentations and case studies on the booming opportunities present within the biomedical industry.
A high percentage of attendees have found the content of the conference to be informative, need-oriented offering great networking opportunities with the right people.
Feedback from delegates at the event were very positive and encouraging, with most commenting on the quality of speakers and the vast extent of networking opportunities offered. A bigger and better BioMedical Asia 2009 is in the midst of being organised!
