Eco-Aviation Workshop: The move towards “greener” skies - Complying with Emissions Trading Schemes (ETS) for the airline industry
Emissions from global aviation are about 650 million tons of CO2 annually according to the Association of Asia-Pacific Airlines. It is crucial that airlines start examining methodologies and systems that can help to measure their environmental performance, manage ETS compliance and implement cost-effective practices to reduce emissions while ensuring optimised cost and operational management.
This Eco-Aviation Masterclass is design to provide essential information and knowledge on the impacts of ETS and how the aviation sector can prepare for carbon emissions trading and adapt their business models to include sustainable initiatives as an imperative corporate objective while continuing to be cost effective, operationally efficient and profitable.
The Masterclass will be led by an industry expert and will include case studies and strategic discussions to ensure an interactive and informative session with the group. All aviation executives involved in corporate management and planning, environmental management, operations, finance and legal management should attend to gain in-depth and must-have knowledge on ETS and environmental performance management.
