Paula Matthewson is Chief Executive Officer of CropLife Australia, the peak body representing the Australian plant science industry. Prior to joining CropLife Australia Paula was a long-term lobbyist for the resources and energy sectors. She has held a number of senior policy and issues management roles in safety and health, energy, trade, greenhouse and sustainable development. Prior to that, Paula served as media adviser to two senior federal parliamentarians, including the Hon John Howard. Paula is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Director and Chairman of Agsafe Limited and represents CropLife in various government forums. Paula also represents CropLife, and therefore the Australian plant science industry in the international arena as a member of the CropLife Asia Coordinating Council.
