 Ms Beverley Henry,
Manager Environment, Sustainability & Climate Change Meat & Livestock Australia Dr Beverley Henry is the Manager for Environment, Sustainability and Climate Change in Meat and Livestock Australia, which provides research and development, marketing and market information to benefit the red meat industry. Beverley manages an on-farm R&D program to support goals for environmental stewardship and sustainable livestock production, and to assist producers and the industry meet the challenges of climate change. She has a PhD in plant physiology, research experience from University of Queensland and ANU and worked for Queensland Department of Natural Resources and Water before joining MLA. As well as research on resource management of extensive grazing systems, she has worked in the fields of climate change and greenhouse gas accounting for more than 10 years, including in the CRC for Greenhouse Accounting, and development of international accounting rules.
