 Mr Charlie Blomfield,
Managing Director Agricultural Management Company Charlie grew up in south-western Queensland and spent a number of years gaining grass roots experience in on-ground property management as a Headstockman and Station Manager on a number of stations throughout the Northern Territory, Queensland and New South Wales. In 2004 Charlie moved to Brisbane to work with Rural Management Partners in the Operations team managing a portfolio of 24 properties running 100,000 cattle across northern and eastern Australia. In 2007, Charlie left RMP and founded Carthona Agriculture, a corporate advisory and agricultural investment services company specialising in services to the international institutional investor market.
In September 2009, Carthona merged with RMP to form Agricultural Management Company with offices in Brisbane and Sydney. Charlie is the Managing Director of AMC which specialises in the management of agricultural properties and businesses on behalf of domestic and international private and institutional investors. AMC also provides corporate advisory services to some of the world’s largest primary producers and agricultural investors. AMC’s portfolio spans northern and southern Australia, Asia Pacific, South America and encompasses a number of commodities.
Charlie has a Bachelor of Agricultural Science and formal financial advisory qualifications. He is a Director of the Agribusiness Association of Australia and maintains board level involvement with the AgForce Queensland Cattle Board.
