Modern Asset Management - a new perspective

The objective of this masterclass:
Will be to provide an overview of the emergent role that Modern Asset Management is playing in providing frameworks for addressing complex problems.

The class will provide an outline of:
• the emerging role of Asset Management as a “whole of business” approach
• the central role of corporate strategy (and outcomes) as the primary driver of the business (not the assets)
• current “Best Practice” frameworks in use within Australia, New Zealand and overseas
• how modern AM is providing a framework for addressing key industry trends
• practical advice on how AM has been effectively implemented in leading water agencies.

The masterclass has been designed to be of particular interest to senior managers of utility businesses who are responsible for managing the competing demands of a capital intensive business (often in a highly regulated or political environment). The course will provide participants with a better understanding of service outcomes, “best practice” Asset Management frameworks and an indication of how these strategies have been successfully employed to improve the operation of a variety of organisations
