Andrew Adams has over 27 years experience in the petroleum exploration industry ranging across both technical and commercial aspects of the business. He started his professional career as a geophysicist with Amoco Canada. In 1982 he moved to Australia with Santos Ltd where he lead exploration and development teams, with areas of responsibility across most major basins in Australia, as well as areas of Southeast Asia. In conjunction with his MBA university studies in the early 1990s he transferred to Santos’ planning department and became involved in budgeting, planning and commercial projects.
Mr Adams also has significant small company experience having worked for several years on acquisitions and project finance as Commercial Manager with Cue Energy Resources Ltd. This role included projects located in Australia, Indonesia and Papua New Guinea. Since 2001 he has worked with Bass Strait Oil Company Ltd combining a wide ranging commercial role with responsibility for the conduct of joint venture operations.
Mr Adams was appointed Managing Director of Bass Strait Oil Company in July 2006.

He has had a varied career in Canadian government service, industry organisations and international relations as an economist, consultant and diplomat. From 1982-1987 he was Senior Vice President of the Retail Council of Canada and served as Agent General for Ontario in Europe from 1988-1992 when he became the founding President of the Europe-Canada Development Association. From 1994-1998 he was President and CEO of the Canadian Gas Association and a Director of Gas Technology Canada.

As a manager during the early 1990s, with the transmission company in Victoria PowerNet, he was involved in the reform process and the formation of the new industry in Victoria as well as being involved in the committee work for the rules for the National Electricity Market. John moved to the Victorian Power Exchange (VPX) in 1997 and VENCorp in 1999. In VENCorp John has been responsible for energy infrastructure planning and more recently developing and implementing a new gas market within Victoria which was successfully implemented on the 1 February 2007.

Graeme York joined the power industry in 1983 with the State Electricity Commission of Victoria before moving to an independent power producer (Edison Mission Energy) in 1993. His experience has covered engineering, maintenance, business development and asset management. This has included three years of business development in Europe, and three years of asset management in the United States.
Graeme transferred to International Power as a result of the sale of EME's international assets to International Power and Mitsui in December 2004, and is currently CEO of International Power Hazelwood, a 1600 MW power station and associated lignite mine in the Latrobe Valley, Victoria.
