Marc Achhammer is heading the global WiMAX business at Siemens Home and Office Communication Devices since November 2006. The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Siemens AG. Their product range includes cordless telephones for fixed networks and Internet telephony (VoIP), broadband products and home media devices.
Achhammer’s career at Siemens started in 2000, when he joined Siemens Management Consulting. After 3 years he joined the strategy department of Siemens Home and Office Communication Devices, which he headed starting October 2005. Since November 2006, Achhammer is managing the WiMAX business. The WiMAX product range includes modems and gateways for both WiMAX standards (802.16-2004/-2005) providing wireless broadband access and enabling several services like Internet telephony (VoIP) and video streaming.
Achhammer studied Physics and holds a Doctorate in theoretical particle physics. In parallel, he also studied philosophy and graduated with an MA. He started his professional career at Siemens in 2000.

As Chief Marketing Officer, Essa Al Haddad is responsible for Consumer, Small/Medium Business and Enterprise customers, the Contact Centre and E-VISION.
Essa Al Haddad joined Etisalat over 25 years ago, beginning his career in the Network Planning section of the engineering department. He moved through Project Implementation, Technology Strategy Development to Executive Vice President of Engineering. He was then appointed as Chief Marketing Officer in May 2006, to develop Etisalat’s marketing strategy with the goal to make Etisalat a customer-centric operation whilst ensuring Etisalat’s engineering excellence remains at the core of operations.
Mr. Al Haddad chairs several internal committees including the Numbering Plan Committee, Next Generation Network Steering Committee, and the Corporate Billing & Customer Care Steering Committee. He is also a member of the Etisalat Internal Investment Committee, Future Challenges Steering Committee and the Etisalat Branding Strategy Steering Committee.

Matt is the Chairman on the Board of Advisors for the Global Innovation Research Centre (GIRC), the organisation that works to foster innovation in Malaysian Government, industry and education sectors.

Ross Cormack has been CEO of Nawras the newest GSM operator in Oman since June 2004. Cormack was seconded to Nawras from Qtel which he joined in May 2003 as Executive Director Wireless Services, bringing over 20 years of international telecommunications experience including mobile start-ups and operations. Earlier he was CEO and founder of Singapore based Virgin Mobile Asia. Previously, he was Managing Director of Hong Kong CSL, the market leader in one of the world's most competitive and crowded mobile markets with six operators and was a member of the Chief Executive Committee of Hongkong Telecom. Other roles have included Managing Director of AirTouch in Italy, Managing Director Asia of Cable & Wireless Mobile based in Singapore and Regional Director for Cable & Wireless Mobile in Europe based in London. Cormack has served on the Boards of Bouygues Telecom in France, M1 in Singapore, CSL in Hong Kong, Europolitan in Sweden, One2One in the UK and Pronto Italia in Italy.

Sally Davis is CEO BT Wholesale and her role is to lead the Wholesale team in its delivery of existing business at the same time as exploiting new opportunities in an IP-enabled world. She also champions Wholesale's contribution to helping BT become number one for customer service. Sally is a member of BT’s Operating Committee.
Prior to this Sally was BT’s first Chief Portfolio Officer providing overall leadership for the shape and future of the company’s portfolio. As President and Chief Operating Officer of Aricent, Sanjay is responsible for its software business units, sales organization, strategic business initiatives, and a variety of corporate functions.
Prior to joining Aricent, Sanjay was Chairman, CEO, and Co-Founder of Inkra Networks, which defined the virtual networking market segment through its highly acclaimed product lines. Before starting Inkra, Sanjay was Vice President of Business Development at Netopia, a leader in DSL access products. He fueled rapid growth at Netopia by focusing on sales to service providers in Europe and Asia. Ray Dogra is a Partner at Accenture, responsible for Accenture’s work in New Product Innovation for Telecoms & Media clients. He is based in London.
He has worked extensively in Europe, Asia, Australia and the US helping telecommunications, media and hi-technology clients on a variety of projects over the past 15 years in areas ranging from Business, Product and IT strategy through to service implementation and operations.
For the last eight years, Mr Dogra has worked in the Digital TV, IPTV, Mobile TV, and Broadband areas, helping telcos, media companies and broadcasters plan and launch their digital video and broadband services. For the past two years, he has led Accenture’s IP Video campaign with responsibility for asset development, offering creation, client team support, practice development and alliance management.
He is a frequent speaker and commentator on issues relating to Telecoms New Services.
Prior to joining Accenture, Ray worked in software engineering at Marconi Radar Systems.

Prior to joining LCC, he was Vice President, Communications and Distribution Sectors, IBM Global Services and has 25 years experience in the systems and telecommunications industries.
Before joining IBM, Mr. Douglas was General Manager of Invisix, a Cisco/Motorola joint venture created to exploit emerging wireless IP technology. In addition, he was responsible for worldwide business development for Motorola's Cellular Infrastructure Group prior to his Invisix responsibilities. Mr. Douglas is a business administration graduate of the University of Mississippi.

Rinaldi Firmansyah serves as President Director and Chief Executive Officer of PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia, Tbk. Prior to his recent appointment to this top post, Rinaldi Firmansyah held the position of Chief Financial Officer at the firm and was named as the best CFO by “Asia Money” in 2004 and by “Finance Asia” in the category “Best Managed Companies” in 2006. Prior to joining TELKOM, Rinaldi Firmansyah served as Director of Investment Banking, President Director and Vice President Commissioner, of PT Bahana Securities from 1997-2003. Sir Julian Horn-Smith, a member of Altimo’s International Advisory Board, was Deputy Chief Executive of Vodafone Group Plc until July 2006. From September 2006 to April 2007 he was Chairman of The Sage Group.
Julian joined Vodafone in 1984 as a Marketing Executive in the UK and has held a number of senior posts including Chief Operating Officer. During his career with the company, he was closely involved in many of Vodafone's major transactions, including the formation of Vodafone AirTouch in 1999 as a result of the merger of the UK and U.S. businesses to create one of the top 25 companies in the world and the agreement to acquire Mannesmann in 2000, almost doubling the size of the Vodafone Group to make it the world's largest mobile telecommunications company. In 1996 he was appointed to the Vodafone Group Plc Board and in 2005 became Deputy Chief Executive, taking responsibility for global business development.
In 2004 he received a knighthood in the Queen's Birthday Honours List for his services to international telecommunications.

She joined Telenor in 1988 as a Research Scientist. From 2000 to 2005 she was Executive Vice President and CTO of Telenor and also working Chair of Telenor R&D.
