Terry is President and Co-Owner of Advanced Ecology, Ltd. Since the firm was established in 1994, Mr. Anderson has worked to develop a business that merges traditional natural resource management with ecological consulting, in the process creating one of the most diversified consulting programs in the industry.
At this time, Terry devotes a majority of his time to developing integrated conservation and ecological credit strategies. Project lands are managed to maximize revenue from applicable credit sales as well as timber and wildlife management, often significantly exceeding traditional industry standards in applicable fields.
Terry received his B.S. in Forestry with an emphasis in Wildlife Management from Stephen F. Austin State University. Postgraduate training has included numerous courses from the Wetlands Training Institute, as well as many other wildlife and natural resource related seminars.
Terry and his wife Kelly live near Nacogdoches, Texas with their two children Katelyn and Wyatt.

Keith Argow is a forester and woodland owner with 5,000 acres of actively managed timberlands in six states....a background that has prepared him to serve as President of the National Woodland Owners Association as well as director of legislation for the nationwide Alliance of Landowner Associations. NWOA has partnered with the Canadian Federation of Woodlot Owners on a number of private landowner issues of mutual interest.
Dr. Argow has been actively involved nationally in forestry issues, including the Coalition to Sustain American Forests, the Sustainable Forestry Roundtable, the American Forest Congress, and past Chair of the National Council on Private Forests. He serves as President of the National Forestry Ass’n., directs the Green Tag Forestry Certification program, and is a Fellow in the Society of American Foresters.

Prior to joining FIA Timber Partners in 2003, Tim worked as an investment banker with Goldman Sachs focusing on the paper and forest products sector, as well as a corporate attorney for Shearman & Sterling focusing on corporate finance, mergers & acquisitions, specialized finance and restructuring projects. Bob Flynn is Director, International Timber for RISI, the leading information provider for the global forest products industry. He has 30 years experience in the forest industry, including 10 years as a forester for Champion International in Oregon. He has spent the past 20 years as a consultant to the industry on international forest resource, production and trade issues. He joined RISI in April 2006, and has published reports on China’s timber supply and demand; a global comparison of planted forest economics and investment attractiveness for tree farm development (Co-authored with Dennis Neilson); a profile of India’s forest products industry; an analysis of the impact of Russia's log export tax on Asian log markets; and an annual report on international trade in pulpwood and biomass fiber.

Kent Gilges joined Conservation Forestry, LLC 2007 to direct efforts associated with conservation.
Prior to that, Kent was the Managing Director of Finance and Acquisitions at The Nature Conservancy. In that role, he was primarily responsible for identifying, structuring and financing transactions on behalf of the largest conservation organization in the world. Kent managed the acquisition of over 800,000 acres of land since 1999. He was also the lead for The Nature Conservancy in the establishment of an integrated protection plan for the Great Bear Rainforest in British Columbia, in which he had overall responsibility for a project which created five million acres of new parks and secured the conservation of over 20 million acres in a mosaic of protected areas and sustainably managed forests.

Sue is a Portfolio Manager in APG Investments’ Alternative Investment platform, focusing on timberland investments. From June 2000 - June 2007, she was a Senior Credit Analyst in APG Investments US’s Fixed Income Group where she was responsible for corporate credits in variety of industries, including paper & forest products, metals & mining, building materials and retail.
From 1994-2000, Sue was in the corporate ratings group at Fitch Inc. where she was lastly a Senior Director and Team Leader in the Natural Resources area. While at Fitch, she co-authored several research criteria, including ‘Corporate Rating Analysis’ and ‘Rating Preferred Stock and Hybrid Securities’. Sue was a member of Fitch’s Credit Advisory Board. Prior to Fitch, Sue worked at MetLife from 1989-1994, first in the Capital Markets Group, specializing in evaluating and structuring private placements of debt and public bonds, then in the Portfolio Management unit, analyzing derivatives.

Rocky Goodnow has been a timber economist with RISI since 2002. Mr. Goodnow is responsible for the RISI North American Timber Models, which are used in the analysis of the future demand for wood fiber in North American markets, regional timber supplies, and the potential returns of timberland investments. In addition, he is the key contributor to the analysis and production of RISI's North American Timber Forecast and other RISI timber related publications and studies. Mr. Goodnow attended Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, where he earned both a B.S. in Forestry and a M.S. in Forest Economics and Management.

Scott is the Executive Vice President of the Forest Landowners Association which represents the interests of over 5,200 private landowners in 47 states that own and operate 37 million acres of private forestland. Scott has a Bachelor of Science in Forest Resources from the Warnell School of Forest Resources at the University of Georgia and was selected as their Distinguished Young Alumnus in 2002. Scott is an SAF certified forester, and GA registered forester.

Liane is a Managing Director and the Chief Timber Officer at FourWinds Capital Management (FWCM) and sits on the Board of Directors of Phaunos Timber Fund Limited (PTF), a publicly traded company listed on AIM (the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange). FWCM is a commodities and timberland investment manager with offices in London, Boston, Geneva, and Singapore. She joined FWCM in 2006 to develop a timberland investment vehicle for its international client base. The result was Phaunos Timber Fund Limited which was listed in December 2006. PTF invests globally in timberland and timber-related assets, and has currently made commitments to ten investments in seven countries totaling US$590 million. Phaunos has recently announced its intention to transfer from AIM to the main London Stock Exchange, as well as its intention to raise additional capital of up to US$1.6 billion in conjunction with a European bank.

Donald MacKay is founder and owner of Forest Research, LLC, a forest and natural resource consulting firm. Forest Research, LLC specializes in forest-related appraisal and economics services. Dr. MacKay has a B.A. in Economics from the College of William and Mary, an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, and a Ph.D. in Forestry from the University of Minnesota. Dr. MacKay has more than 15 years experience in forestry and forest economics, including seven years of appraisal experience. His background includes forest economics and policy research at the University of Minnesota, four years as an analyst at a prominent timberland investment management organization, and appraisal and economics positions with two appraisal and consulting firms. Dr. MacKay is a Maine certified general appraiser and licensed forester, and he has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. He is a part owner of Zeomatrix, LLC, an environmental technology firm developing innovative paper products and involved with research on biofuels from woody biomass.

Dennis Neilson is a Director of the New Zealand based forest products consulting and publishing company DANA Limited. He is also provides New Zealand and overseas arbitration and expert witness services. In addition Mr. Neilson has published and/or co-authored more than 35 multi-client reviews since 1993; including the recent publications: The 2007 Global Tree Farm and Managed Forest Industry Review (published by RISI), The 2007 Russian Forest Industry Sector Review, the 2008 International Pulpwood Trade Review (published by RISI); and The 2008 International Timberlands Ownership and Investment Review.

Blake joined The Forestland Group in 2000 after two years at Canal Forest Resources where he was the Senior Associate Appraiser focusing on timberland appraisals and valuation consulting projects.

Mr. Thornburgh serves as the Chief Financial Officer for the Galtere Global Timber Fund. The Fund was formed in 2007 in conjunction with the Galtere Global Farmland Fund as a joint venture between Galtere Ltd. and Harvest Capital Group LLC. Mr. Thornburgh formed Harvest Capital Group LLC in partnership with Scott Oakes in 2004. Harvest Capital currently has US$85M of agriculture and timber assets under management in Brazil. Prior to forming Harvest Capital, Mr. Thornburgh spent 20 years in the computer technology marketplace working in multiple engineering, sales, and marketing positions. Mr. Thornburgh managed a global sales and marketing team for Cisco Systems, Inc. in the late 1990’s, and started and sold a technology outsourcing company in 2003. Mr. Thornburgh holds a BS Degree in Electronics Technology from Purdue University.

Mrs. Desiree Wareman is a senior investment manager at PGGM Investments.
PGGM’s largest client is Pension Fund Zorg & Welzijn, for which PGGM manages assets of some 90 billion euros and administers the pensions of over two million employees and former employees in the healthcare and social work sector.
Since early 2006, Desiree Wareman has been a member of the Portfolio of Strategies team, responsible for several alternative strategies, including timber and carbon credits. In this role, she is responsible for evaluating and proposing ‘alternative’ investment opportunities, as well as monitoring e.g. performance and activity for the organization’s carbon and timber investments.

Webb is Director of Business Development for RMK Timberland Group. He is responsible for business development with new and existing clients and consultant relationships. Drawing on his extensive client service experience with the group, he guides marketing efforts dedicated to understanding and meeting the unique needs of corporate and public pension plans as well as endowments and foundations as they do their due diligence in examining timberland for inclusion in their institutional portfolios.
Prior to joining RMK Timberland in 1988, Webb was employed by Weyerhaeuser Company for nearly fourteen years and was responsible for marketing and disposition of southern timberland to institutional investors and forest product concerns.
Webb is a registered forester and a member of the Society of American Foresters. He is a native of West Virginia and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from West Virginia University in Forest Resource Management.
