The commercial emphasis of last year's event was made more apparent with a substantial representation from venture capitalists and legal entities.

Attendee profile - job title
The 2007 event attracted an unprecedented number of senior level representatives from the global organisations previously mentioned. A combined total of 61% of the congress audience were of Director level or above, with a further 19% of senior scientist level.
A massive 20% of the congress attendees were of CxO seniority, creating a very strong business ethic and networking opportunity for all involved from the business community.
Strong representation was also apparent from marketing and business development attendees, confirming that the business side of stem cell application is developing in tandem with the basic and translational science.
