Based in Singapore, she is responsible for providing regional strategy, account development and strategic direction for customer solutions within the Life Sciences and Healthcare Industries portfolio. She is a highly talented individual who has constantly exceeded expectations and has played a pivotal role in the expansion of the Life Sciences and Healthcare division within DHL GCS.
She is an industry veteran with an extensive experience in the logistics industry both in Asia Pacific and internationally. She joined DHL in 1999 as Industry Sector Head Asia Pacific, Life Sciences, DHL Danzas Air & Ocean and has been in senior management positions since then. She also has been instrumental in the promotion and development of new businesses and leveraging on existing global relationships within Asia Pacific
Prior to joining DHL, Ms Sue has worked for a number of leading global companies in various senior positions in Asia within the operations, sales & marketing areas. Her past experiences include Manager, Global Customers and State Sales Manager with BAX Global, State Sales Manager and Market Development Manager with Hellmann International and various other senior positions with Burlington Air Express and Air Express International.
Sue Arden is an Australian citizen and a graduate of the University of Western Sydney in Logistics Management. She is currently pursuing a Masters in Logistics Management from NUS and Georgia Tech and she also holds a number of professional certificates from IATA.

Steven Cherry is the Director - Procurement Operations for Telstra, overseeing core procurement functions for Telstra Corporation company wide.
Steven’s business expertise expands almost 30 years at Telstra across key areas including Field Operations, Finance & Administration, Sales & Service and Procurement.
Steven commenced originally in a field role and then moved quickly in to a number of finance and administration roles. After completing his Master of Business Administration (MBA), Steven embarked on a progressive path in both field operations and sales & service. Performing senior management roles, Steven focused on designing and implementing organisational change and developed a strong operational portfolio which expanded opportunities into a number of General Manager Roles across field operations, sales and service and logistics.
The ability to deliver effective business outcomes and manage high performance teams lead to Steven’s current appointment as Director Procurement Operations. In this role, Steven manages several teams responsible for delivery of procurement functions, supply chain strategy, procurement policy and process, operations and logistics. Our current main focus is implementation of supply chain and procurement process change across Telstra. Richard Owens is the Senior Vice President, Global Customer Solutions for DHL in the Asia Pacific region.
He is responsible for leading and driving the growth of DHL’s Global Customer Solutions (GCS) Asia Pacific organization which was established in 2004 to serve DHL’s largest customers for their combined express and logistics needs.
Richard has over 25 years of experience in the Logistics industry where he has resided 23 years in Asia, assuming a number of leadership positions in the Asia Pacific region. He served as Senior Vice President for DHL Global Forwarding Asia Pacific, overseeing its Marketing and Sales function. This included managing the MNC customer program, tradelane development and general sales.
Prior to this, he was Head of Integration for DHL’s Logistics division in Asia Pacific where he was instrumental in integrating the merger between Exel and DHL Danzas Air and Ocean. Before joining DHL, Richard worked in Exel where he served as Commercial Director in Asia Pacific.
Richard is married with two children and enjoys golfing and tennis, current affairs and literature.
